The hotel was very old-looking. Breakfast was not varied, always the same. The street had workers working on it, and access to the other side of the street or the park was difficult.

In terms of location, it was a 20-30 minute walk from all the main touristy spots with bus stops available within a 5-10 minute walk. Not too many dining options around the area and no local shop either which was not an issue for me personally. The reception staff was very friendly and the breakfast options were standard (cereal, toast, hard-boiled eggs, yoghurt, fruit and pastires). There was no lift in the building with quite a steep incline of the stairs to get to the second floor. The room main doors were also very heavy and quite hard to open as was the wardrobe door. Not an issue for me but could be an issue for indivuduals with mobility issues. The room itself was standard although old fashioned with very little decor. The bed lamp didn't even have a lamp shade, just a bare lightbulb. The bathroom was tiny, and water pressure was dissapointing. My room was also ridden with mosquitoes which made my first night impossible to sleep through. All in all, Hotel Arno Bellariva is a good hotel for a short term stay but not a place I would reccomend to stay if you're looking for more than just sleeping in the room.

MOSQUITOS!!! Near the river - not close enough for a view, but close enough for LOTS of MOSQUITOS.. no fan in the room, west sun heating up the room.. had to open the window for ventilation.. no screen. FALSELY advertises AC- NO AC!!! Not even a fan in the room. Falsely advertises room service. When i asked about room service hotel replied i was not even allowed to eat food in my room at all. HORRIBLE experience. Do not recommend. Absolutely AWFUL ..

Hotel rooms were okay and thank goodness for the AC. A little far away from the city center but it was nice not to heat so much traffic.

This place was nasty, dirty and got bed bugs from staying here. Had to leave after one night there.

El hotel es bueno en general considerando que es de 2 estrellas. En general la habitacion muy limpia y con los servicios generales funcionando en forma. Varias observaciones. * las fotos que ves al reservar estan algo truqueadas. No es realmente el hotel que encuentras. Ya se ve mas viejo y notas que no ha tenido renovaciones recientes. * las personas de recepcion muy amables en general y dispuestos a ayudar siempre. Eso estuvo perfecto. * en rexepcion lo unico que no nos agrado fue que tienen ahi a un gato que pues bueno, no es de nuestro agrado. Solo lo menciono por otros que se sientan igual. * las habitaciones en general bien. Para llegar a dormir y amplias. Nada maravilloso. Si eres amante de tu tv y netflix por la noche pues aca no es porque la tv es muy pequeña y no conecta a internet. Nosotros no lanusamos pero es un punto a considerar. En general creo que florencia es un poco cara en temas de hospedaje y este hotel era de los accesibles, pero bo olvide. Que es de 2 estrellas y eso es lo que recibes.

It’s only two stars so don’t expect too much. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are cozy, the air conditioning was essential on 40c days in August. It’s across the street from the river and in a pleasant residential neighborhood and a short walk from the Ponte Vecchio and the central tourist locations in Florence. Good breakfast with fresh cut fruit as well as all the typical options.
