Poor environment and security
The reception area and the rooms are strangely separated and located in different buildings (or at least from different entrances if in the same building) and there is no segregation/security measure at the main entrance to the rooms which are are on the 1st and 4th floors as there maybe other occupants on the other floors (although there is a segregated door on the room floor with room key to get through). The shower area is stuck and the water wouldn’t go away and almost flood. And after the filter was taken away, the bad smell emerged from the pipes. In gist, this hotel is not worth the price.

Wonderful stays in Firenze
We chose this hotel for the great river view and it is exactly, and we enjoyed beautiful sunset of Firenze. But windows can not be opened, I guess it's for security reason. Room is wide and well decorated, especially the tall ceiling. And remarkable privacy of main gate of each floors which made us feel safe and peaceful. Hotel staff provided helpful information about travel in Firenze, and also assisted us to contact car rental company for reservation. We had pleasure 2 stays and will definitely choose this hotel again.

La struttura presenta tanti punti chiave negativi. 1) La camera sembra nuova ma in realtà è vecchiotta: Il condizionatore è rumorosissimo e si è costretti ad accenderlo in quanto gli infissi non sono dei migliori. La doccia appena viene messa in funzione emana un suono simile ad una sirena per tutta la durata della doccia, tutt’altro che rilassante. Durante la notte si presentano dei rumori forti, fissi e ritmici a distanza di 5 minuti circa gli uni dagli altri che rendono difficile il riposo. 2) Il palazzo è molto vecchio: internamente non è così bello e non risulta funzionale, d’inverno per accedere alla propria camera dall’ingresso passando per l’ascensore fino alla stanza non è confortevole in quanto rimane freddo e buio, come un qualsiasi vecchio condominio (eppure è un 4 stelle). È diviso in più edifici: d’inverno in una giornata piovosa, come è capitato a noi, la mattina per arrivare alla reception (altro edificio) o alla sala colazioni (altro edificio ancora) via di giubbotto cuffia sciarpa e ombrello! 3) La colazione è abbastanza standard, non aspettatevi grandi sorprese. 4) Il prezzo non ne vale assolutamente la pena per la qualità complessiva, se si cerca qualcosa su quel budget conviene spendere qualcosina in più e andare in strutture di livello.

From the top-notch location (Right at Piazza Tournabuoni and two minute walk to Ponte Vecchio- to the ginormous riverfront prestige ROOM with the 20’ domed fresco painted ceilings—sooo worth it!—we enjoyed all the modern creature comforts AND true Florentine renaissance history right above our heads! The ultra-friendly and responsive staff and 5 star service went above and beyond! I asked, and the obliged with a Christmas tree in my room-made me cry! Even breakfast in the well appointed dining room was beautifully presented each morning with plenty of choices, and the dining room seating was lovely overlooking the courtyard. Very sexy bar downstairs for a nightcap- They made us feel like Alfieris at home in this repurposed Palazzo… Christmas and New Year stay in Florence was unforgettable! My ONLY regret? NOT booking longer-10 days was not enough time!

Hotel precioso a dos cuadras del Puente Vecchio. Puedes llegar caminando perfectamente a los sitios mas emblemáticos de Florencia. La habitación es moderna y cómoda. El staff nos ayudó mucho y fueron muy amables. Está en una zona ZTL si llegas en coche, pero te ayudan mucho en poder estacionarlo. Muy recomendable. Sin duda volvería.

One of the most beautiful places I have stayed, and a great location for going shopping and exploring the city. Right on the canal, it’s pretty tough to beat. My friend and I got a suite and it was plenty of space and amenities.

We have stayed at this hotel before and chose to book again. We enjoyed our stay and the second room we were given was nice. However a main complaint would be the food at breakfast. The food served as consistently cold, we the eggs very cold every day and the beans. Apart from this is was an enjoyable stay.

Great location, very close to a lot of places to visit, a great view. The elevator was a bit uncomfortable and the hair dryer wasn’t good, compared to other hotels I stayed at in Italy (I couldn’t find a voltage converter for the one I bought from home). But overall was a really good place to stay.

Hotel is in a high tourist area, but it’s not bad. Still pretty quiet and comfortable. The air conditioning went out at the hotel one of the days I was there so it was very hot and uncomfortable, especially since it was very hot outside. I would not suggest using the parking that they try to push on you because they do not communicate everything and did not tell me that the parking garage they are contracted with closes from midnight to 7:00am and my rental was stuck in the garage until the car rental company picked it up because they would not open it or let me get the car for my early morning flight. They will tell you that in case of emergency, there isn’t anything they can do and no solution. Use at your own risk.
