Perfect location to be able to walk to all the tourist spots. Close to Mercado Centrale which is great for food. Ten minute walk to the train station and an hour from there to Pisa on the train. We were there to celebrate my partners 60th and on arrival there was a small cake and 'happy birthday ' in chocolate which was a lovely surprise. Staff all really pleasant.

We stayed at the Solo Experience Hotel for just one night as a last-minute decision to be closer to the train station before heading to Cinque Terre. It turned out to be one of the best choices of our entire trip. Every staff member we encountered was genuinely kind, helpful, and accommodating. Their hospitality was the best we’ve experienced so far in Italy. The biggest surprise was the size of the room. It was easily two to three times larger than any other hotel room we’ve stayed in on this trip. It was extremely clean, well stocked with everything we needed, and offered a lovely view. It was the kind of place you actually didn’t want to leave. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of Florence with easy access to shops, restaurants, and major sights. We always appreciate walkability and this hotel delivered. Despite being in such a central area, the inside of the hotel was very quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Florence.

Getting to our 3rd floor room was initially tricky as the hotel is 2 buildings combined but we got the hang of it. Great staff who helped with bags, got cabs and described highlights of the area. Great restaurant in hotel for breakfast. Good selection of healthy, food. Bathroom a bit dark, with no lighting around or over sink. Good bed, pillows for sleeping and AC worked well.
