Most everything is within walking distance, while the ocean beaches, National Dunes, and golf courses are a quick 10 minutes drive from Historic Old Town. Florence was voted number one - most beautiful places by Expedia in 2017, 2018 & 2019!!
This SECOND STORY newly redecorated space has fresh paint and carpet. The rooms are filled with gallery quality art from both local and nationally acclaimed artists. The unit is 1400 square feet with a large 250 square foot deck overlooking the scenic river and views of the beautiful and historic Siuslaw Bridge. The deck is complete with seating and BBQ, perfect for relaxing while watching all the fishing and crabbing vessels depart and return from the Pacific Ocean.
The large primary bedroom (street side) has a flat screen TV, comfy seating, and a king sized bed with new linens. The primary bath features a Jacuzzi tub and shower, with a separate double sink between the primary bed and bath. The smaller (quieter) bedroom has a king bed, affords views of the river, separate deck access, and a bathroom just steps away. The kitchen is fully furnished with island seating in addition to the dining room seating for six.
Other amenities include a washer/dryer, two flat screens w/cable, and internet connection. WiFi info posted inside.
Supplies: in the bathrooms we provide shampoo, conditioner, soap and body wash. Hair dryer, bath towels, hand towels and wash clothes as well. In the kitchen we provide dish soap and dishwasher pods, oils and spices, dish towels and wash clothes. Dishes, glasses and cups, silverware, pots and pans, knifes with sharpeners. For laundry we provide washer pods and dryer sheets-fragrant free.
Parking: parking is a premium in Old Town. While parking on the street is an option, it’s sometime hard to come by especially during summer months. We do feel fortunate to have a reserved parking space located a 2 minute walk to the condo front door (estimated 150 steps). Trailer, RV and oversized vehicle parking is available in the port parking area -one block from the Dunes condo.
If you’re looking to host larger gatherings, there is a matching condo with connecting decks, right next door. Look for the Tides listing on Florence’s VRBO!
Sorry no pets, and no smoking/vaping anywhere in or around the building. The second story condo is accessible by stairs only - no elevator. We love our property and our downstairs business neighbor. Please no parties or rambucious behavior.
While there are beautiful views of the Siuslaw River and Siuslaw Bridge, there is no bridge noise as we are located several blocks from the bridge and not near enough to hear the traffic or bridge activity.
(Re: Early check in - it’s important to pre arrange early check in for two main reasons. First, to allow our housekeeping staff to work without interruption. Second, our electronic lock system is set up for an after 4pm arrival. The locks will not open for your code before 4pm on check in day. I’m happy to provide free pre arranged early check in whenever it is possible. 🙂)
*****Please be aware that this condo is located in the heart of busy Old Town with restaurants, and shops all around. Most businesses open at 10 am and close at 8 pm. Service and supply trucks come and go sometimes in the very early hours. While the deck and guest bedroom are peaceful at all times, there is some street activity on weekends especially, until 10 or 11 o'clock.
At the end of the boardwalk there a convenience market with all the basics and fabulous wine selection, deli sandwiches, and fresh donuts!
