Bit disappointed trip

Reception little bit rude, have to improve customer service and smiles are lacking. Should learn more how to smile with all customers would be good. Room air conditioning not enough. Not enough water pressure in shower room.

Great hotel but

...there are other options if you want to stay closer to the attractions. If not, it's a 15min walk everyday. Also, I am not sure why but I asked for hangers for my clothes three times and I never got them. Yet they have nice hangers to sell their souvenirs at reception..

The stay in this hotel was really. The air conditioning in our room broke down the second night of our stay. The hotel didn’t have any maintenance staff at night to fix it. Only two staff members working at night - receptionist and security. They tried to help us but they ended up changing our room around 12:30’AM. The following the assured us that the air conditioning was fixed. However, when we went to the room the air conditioning was not working. So they ended up again charging our room at 01:00AM. Furthermore, the room/bathroom was not cleaned for the last 3 days. There is a clear lack of staff with only two people working at night in a hotel with 500+ rooms. The same happened during breakfast where there was a clear lack of staff with coffee machines not working properly. The communal areas are great. To the hotel management- hire more staff.

If you’re looking for a real hotel, this isn’t it. This is a glorified and very expensive dorm building full of college students. The pool area has an amazing view but the amenities do not outweigh the fact that didn’t Feel at all like a nice 4-star hotel. The rooms are also dorms and the students come into the halls at all hours of the morning. It was not at all worth the high price tag

This place felt more like your frat house in college than a hotel. Parties organized and made by the hotel every single evening of the week and weekend until midnight: goodbye restful night and energized morning. We had to sacrifice a full morning in Florence to recuperate. Each time I asked for an extra blanket, or info about coffee machine at the room, thry always consistently said "I have no idea" and "I am not the person for that question" and left you with no further info. Our cover mattress was not even placed on the bed, we had to take care of it (it was left stuffed at the front of the bed). We also got locked in the stairway and our cards were not able to open the doors. BIG hazardous risk. There was no indicationnsaying of it was emergency only, staff only, etc. We were knocking at the door repeatedly until a client openned us. Oh and they gilt -trip you with a thermostat with a polar bear and an iceberg and when you reach a certain time to take your shower warm like any normal human being on a trip, the iceberg melts and the polar bear drowns. Last, at the breakfast room I was greeted with an eye roll as I politely asked for a coffee.

Great location for a quick trip to Florence without being in the middle of town. It is a 15 minute to the Duomo and all the other sightseeing places. The rooftop bar, the gym , the restaurant - all in all it is fantastic

This hotel was in a great location. About 15-20 minute walk from the shopping but the walk is amazing. The hotel is also peaceful at night as it is far enough away from everything. Staff was very attentive and the pool and gym were very very nice. 10/10 would stay here again if I am in the area!

Mixed feeling about this property. Far too ‘self-serve’ to be a genuine “ wonderful” hotel. Positive : The hotel is just 15 minutes walking distance from the train station. Very convenient in terms of location and they offer a complimentary luggage room , this is an advantage comparable to the other hotels. Negative: be patient during your check - in and check out. They have only 1 person at the front desk to help you ; and we waited a long time in order to be served.However, they do offer an online check in case you are a tech person. The rooms are ok, does look more a “ fancy” student dormitory. Negative: the minibar products is to pricey , pay attention to not be charged for drinks you did not consume.The price is comparable to drinks at the hotel's lobby bar. The restroom at the basement level was a nightmare, extremely dirty! The pool at the rooftop is just for an instagram photo shoot, I would not take a chance to go for a swim. The breakfast is good, but get there early. The restaurant is far too small comparable with the number of guests they do receive. To be fair, still not sure why they have such high reviews. The place is beautiful, that’s it! but nothing special in terms of service.
