“Surprisingly spacious basement apartment. The owners clearly put in a lot of effort to make it feel warm and inviting. It was very clean and had clearly been recently renovated. All of the furnishing were new and comfortable, and the rooms were pretty big.It's pretty far outside of of the city, near Fort Cherry HS. And up a dirt road, which was a bit tough in the snow. But maybe that's because I'm from Carolina.”

Clean and welcoming atmosphere in the cottage and the host was friendly and we had good communication. “We arrived and had not received and communication regarding check-in. When I put the address in to the Uber, so we can be dropped off, we were sent to the wrong location. I thought we were scammed. I was able to communicate with the property manager and he corrected everything and gave me the correct address. “The only option available to book was the part of the lodge that was not updated. We asked for an upgrade at checkin but they were not able to accomodate. Instead the front desk staff provided free breakfast for our stay which was very generous. Loved my spa booking and the staff in the spa. Enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. We got the same server, Willi, at both breakfasts. He was so nice and made it a pleasure. Everything needed was onsite. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back! ”

“The WiFi is really bad. I can’t access to the internet while staying in the room. The hotel deliberately tries to drag you out of the room to the casino and the racetrack. When I called the front desk and complained about wifi service, all they told me is “well sir, it turns out you are in a dead spot. Sorry” This is absurd, not everyone comes here is for the casino and racetrack. I’m on a business trip, and it’s a just a stopping by.”
