“I grew up a block from this property and loved being able to walk to everything like I did back then. This was the perfect location for the festival! The cottage was cute and plenty of space for the 2 of us. Yes there is a train but I knew that and there wasn’t an issue…bring a sound machine Prime location! Clean and very responsive! Would stay again. Only suggestion would be to have a mirror in the bedroom (maybe on the back of door) as well since bathroom is smaller and the shower was……

“The hosts were very responsive and answered all of our questions during our stay. It’s walkable distance to the Abita Brew Pub, Abita Cafe (great breakfast!), a snowball stand/coffee hut, the Abita Springs museum and more. Darling house with wrap around porch and nice backyard. Definitely recommend!”

“This is a great property to stay at in Hammond. It is close enough to walk to downtown restaurants and shops and also very close to SLU campus. The house is very nicely decorated and was very clean and everything worked as needed. I would definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in the area. ”

“So overall very good place to stay except there is no curtain or blind on the bathroom windows. Had to use towels Also might need a slip stick in bathtub. Also need to screw the dishwasher into the frame. It almost fell over. Otherwise a great place. Clean with plenty of room for everyone ”

“What a great place, my wife and I booked for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We arrived near dark on Friday, don’t think you are going to far down the gravel road. The entire property is very secluded and private. The unit was very clean and well appointed. Nearly everything you need for cooking. We had such a great time we didn’t want to leave. We will be back. ”
