“Our stay was amazing. The kids had a blast fishing, kayaking, and swimming. The only downfall was having random other people coming and going from the boat launch. We were under the impression it was a private retreat and had our stuff out when a huge group showed up to use the boat launch. Luckily we were there or our stuff would have been unsupervised with strangers roaming around. I wish it would have been communicated that other people may be using the boat launch. We would have booked a……

“Was here on work had everything we needed”

“As advertised - the house is right on the lake. The home is well maintained and cared for. There’s four in our family. The 1-year-old excitedly said “flowers, flowers, flowerrrrrs” upon seeing the photo of sunflowers in her room every time she was being put down. The 4-year-old made good use out of the Disney Princess themed “hidden objects” book in her room and went ham on her first summer of “swimming alone” down by the dock ( splashing in waist high water with a life jacket on). A tip……

“This was our short summer vacation as a family while attending a wedding in Newport. The small home was perfect for us! We planned like we were camping as small-town shopping is approx 20 each way. Because the house & lake are amazing, we wanted all the time we could to be AT the rental. We very much enjoyed our stay!”

“This place is an older house that has been upgraded but still has the comfort of an old home. it has a large yard that kept our grandchildren occupied having fun outside when we were not at the lake. we had outdoor games with us and they had a blast and enjoyed seeing the turkeys and deer wonder through the yard. The private beach isn't very large but it was enough for the kids to enjoy the lake for hours each day. Nice safe dock to moor your boat of PWC. We will be back next summer.”
