“We’re a family of 16: 8 adults and 8 children ages 3-13. This is our 3rd summer to rent a house together. Everyone said that the Hilltop Farmhouse is the best house we have ever rented. The pool was the highlight and it was so nice to swim without the bright sun. The kitchen is amazing with a commercial grade refrigerator and a regular refrigerator. But who wants to even stay inside with such a glorious river expanse at your footsteps. Wonder was friendly, helpful and responsive. We’d stay again in a heartbeat!”

“Secluded, quiet idyllic area, ample space for sleeping/bedrooms available, we were 10 people, clean, game room, small-ish kitchen but fully functional, bathrooms great, hot tub great, pool closed, I loved that there is a playground for kids but we were all adults, restaurants and groceries within 10-15 minute drive, we stayed for a Spartan race at Mt. Vernon only 12 minutes away, would definitely request a stay again!”

“Our stay was great even though it rained 3 days we were there the house is very cozy and if you open up all the blinds it’s like you’re still sitting outside! If you have a dog this is a perfect place to set them up with a long lead and let them hang outside with you or walk the property with them which our dog never got old of! “We absolutely loved our stay here. The cottage was very clean and decorated nicely. If it had rained the entire time I would have been happy to stay inside and read by the living room window. We even had an issue with a door (our fault) and they were so helpful and responsive when we needed help. The water is less of a “lake” and more of a shallow pond but it’s beautiful nonetheless. The towns nearby have amazing food and friendly service. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. ”
