“My partner and I stayed here during my birthday trip and to visit the park. It was very quiet and well stocked. The property have private trials, a fire pit and a beautiful flowering tree. The property owner Kamala was also very nice, we would definitely come back again.”

Our host was available for anything we needed and got us acquainted with the place when we arrived. It even included a vehicle pass for Makah Tribal recreation spots. All the bases were covered. “We had a lovely time at Lake Sutherland Retreat. We lucked out with full sun everyday and the views from the back deck were outstanding. The house was very clean. The only thing that was a negative was the neighbors motion lights at night. They would come on anytime we moved on the deck at night.”

“The place was nice, but very small. The only bathroom is a porta-potty and the shower is a shared between all guests of the entire campground, which was not clearly defined in the listing. There is no cell service, so communication once arriving is very difficult.”

“My daughter and I did an overnight to celebrate her being home from college for the summer. The property is beautiful and only 20 minutes from Port Angeles. The tree Haus is cozy and the outdoor kitchen and hot tub were so fun to use. The host came on property to meet us to resolve some unforeseen issues with our accommodations. She was kind and helpful. I would highly recommend staying at this property.”
