“Loved the cottage Red Deer. We have stayed in the one bedroom before Brochure. Settee was a bit uncomfortable. No hairdryer although listed as having one, so had to go and buy a travel hairdryer. Disappointed that there wasn’t any hand soap provided in the bathroom Apart from that we would come back as it is very spacious. ”

“We missed the turning as postcode didnt take us to the Bothie direct, but as soon as we saw the Laggan Lock sign right by the bus stop we never missed it. The place was easy to get the keys with the key code. The room its self was not like you see in the photos, which looks all cute and colourful.... and also not much room. Saying this the bed was big and so so comfy after walking all day. Their was a small domino stove top, small fridge for the wine and crockery and cup/glasses all was……

“We absolutely loved our week at Mor Carraig! We came to Scotland on holiday and this was the perfect home base for our adventures. The view was so lovely from the conservatory. We spent a lot of time in there, playing card games, sharing meals. The property managers were a pleasure to communicate with. The kitchen was well appointed. We would happily return anytime. Make sure to check out the trails just up the road. Dores Beach was stunning and would be a great spot for having lunch al fresco.……

“Modern and spaceious cottage on a nice little farm, very friendly host and cute dogs included. The living room is cozy and the kitchen was well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay. Aside from Loch Ness most points of interest are a bit further away so there is not too much to see around but the cottage totally makes up for that.”

“Jackie and Keith were lovely hosts who made sure i had everything I needed for my week-long hiking trip to Loch Ness: a strong hearty breakfast every morning, comfortable room to come home to, daily chekins and timely weather forecast and information on their favourite local trails. Location-wise, 5 stars! I especially enjoyed walking across the street to the Visitor Center for tour bookings, was within a stone throw of Nessie exhibition center, and drove out to do 360 trails around Loch Ness……
