The property is secluded, the wildlife are abundant, and the bed was super cozy. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to enjoy a quiet lake trip. “The house in the pictures is not the house at the listed address and someone actually lives there. I don't know why VRBO hasn't taken this listing off the website. I tried to contact the owner several times the day before check and and the day of - no response. When we arrived at the address, there a lot of stuff (junk) in the yard, a junked car in the drive and a large aggressive dog to meet us. Needless to say, we did not get out of your car. We contacted VRBO that told us the owners phone……

“The area is beautiful and mostly quiet. The staff at the resort were all nice. Beautiful view of the lake from a nice sized deck. There are no steps but a ramp, which was nice as well. The cons: The place was clean-ish. The ceiling fan was so full of dust and cobwebs, we couldn’t turn it on to circulate the A/C. There were cobwebs in some corners of the entire place. “This cabin is very cool. THe view on the water was amazing for sunsets. My family of 6 played cards and appreciated the games there. Amenities are nice. Coffee maker and Keurig both available. We came at a time (October) when many of the restaurants and places seemed to close down because this is a lake town, so restaurants were scarce and had shorter hours, but we found the Burger Barn (delicious) on the lake across the bridge into the LBL, and the next night we drove about 30 min up to Grand……
