“We had a wonderful visit! The small lake was gorgeous, the beds were comfortable, house was clean. We used the fire pit daily, found loads of little frogs by the water, enjoyed peace and tranquility. Was a great stay, highly recommend!!!!”

This place was perfect for what we desired: quiet, animals around, hot tub and ease for grilling on a provided camping propane grill in the back area. Just be sure to plan meals for small grill or reheat in a microwave as there’s not a full kitchen, if you’re not wanting to go to MtShasta to eat. It was also close to places for day hikes near the stunning MtShasta. I would go back and……

“Plenty of room for 4 of us. The upstairs bedroom has an en suite bathroom, which I don't think is listed on the posting, but is a really nice-to-have. Follow up communication with the owner/property manager about personal items left behind by mistake was not responded to, unfortunately. Otherwise, a great experience!”

“This home was in a very quiet, nice area and close to several stores and restaurants. The place was clean and had plenty of room for all of us - a large family traveling for a funeral. Any hiccups that came up were solved quickly by the host. Very much enjoyed our stay!”

“I recently stayed in a trailer at a campground, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The trailer was excellent—clean, neat, and well-organized, with everything arranged just like in a hotel. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, spices, tea, cleaning supplies, and more, making it incredibly convenient. What truly exceeded my expectations, however, were the bathrooms. “Although the owner was good with communication this property is VERY OLD. They did have a fire going when we got there but it really only heats up the area its in. The rest of the house is very cold, and only a couple electric heaters that do not keep up. The beds slept good and the bedding was clean, but the rest of the house (floors, shelves, ect..) where very dirty.”

“The ranch is beautiful!! Douglas and his wife were so welcoming and wanted to ensure our 6 year old had as wonderful of a time as we did. The cottage was clean and had ample supplies for cooking our meals. We felt very safe and it was so quiet and peaceful. Our son enjoyed the pool and feeding the animals.
