Great location and property with nice facilities for gym and pool. The only downside was the noise… we could hear everything in the hallway outside our room as if they were in our room. Thankfully there wasn’t too much foot traffic so it was manageable.

We stayed at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina from Saturday, May 10 to Sunday, May 11. At 11:10 AM, we checked out. Just two hours later, while driving back to Orlando, I realized my Apple Watch was missing. It was shut off at exactly 12:08 PM — and guess where it last pinged? That’s right: Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina. I clearly remember leaving it next to the TV. As we were walking out, the cleaning crew was already on the floor. Suspicious? Extremely. I reported it immediately. The security guy said he’d “investigate” and call me back. He didn’t. I followed up that same night, and the front desk lady told me nothing was turned in to lost and found — but accidentally let slip that someone checked into our room at 6:00 PM, six hours after my $1,200 watch conveniently went offline. The only people who had access during that gap? The cleaning staff. Still, no call back. I called five days in a row. Nothing but excuses. Hilton’s security manager completely ghosted me. This is disgusting behavior for a brand like Hilton. You had one job: check the cameras, confront the cleaner, and get my damn watch back. After years of being a loyal guest, I’m done. My family, my friends, my company — none of us will ever stay at a Hilton again. This wasn’t just unprofessional — it was straight-up ghetto. Shameful.

The good bits first… The property is well located for the conference centre (2 minute walk). Loads of Uber Taxis in the nearby vicinity so I didn’t have to wait longer than 7 minutes for a cab. My room was clean and well air conditioned and my bed was comfortable. The WiFi was great and free. The free bag drop was very welcome after checking out in the morning on my last day (with a day of conference meetings ahead of me). Hassle free collection afterwards. Things I didn’t like… The food in the shop in reception was very over priced. A salad, cheese croissant and fruit salad cost $57 plus a tip. Ironically I spent less in the restaurant for my evening meals. ($40 avg for a main course and drink) plus service charge… I paid for bed and breakfast upon booking the trip via an online agent, but my breakfast details weren’t on the system so I had to convince the waitress that I had already paid. She said she would give me “the benefit of the doubt” which was frustrating. I then found and produced my reservation receipt which showed that breakfast was included. No apology… I was a bit surprised to find a cockroach in my bathroom, I just ignored it but was surprised non the less. Would I go again, probably yes as it’s the closest hotel to the conference centre. But I won’t be visiting the reception store in a hurry. And I will be praying that the cockroaches haven’t multiplied.

We stayed at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina for a wedding and had a mixed experience. While the waterfront location offered a lovely view and the AC worked perfectly (a big plus in Florida), there were several drawbacks. The side of the hotel we stayed on had a persistent septic-like smell, which was unpleasant. The bathroom and room felt cramped, especially for the price point. The wedding venue itself was amazing (Looked bran new), though the food was average. Unfortunately, communication with some of the servers was challenging, as many did not speak English and came across as less than friendly. Overall, it's a decent spot because of the location, but the service and room quality left a lot to be desired. I’d give it 3 stars.

For $750 US a night they don’t clean the room other than putting new towels in there are no drinking glasses so it makes brushing your teeth difficult. They claim they didn’t put them in because people steal them even though they take a $100 deposit no pad of paper and a pencil nobody body lotions so anything that is standard. Another hotels it’s a disservice to put the name Hilton on the property. The property is nice. The rooms are nice but everything else is as cheap as Hilton could do. It still acting like it’s Covid

Hotel was nice. They gave away our room the first night but comped the breakfast buffet for the weekend. First room was in west villa side and the room was about as basic as you could get. Definitely not worth the price of the room especially when you add in $51 a night self parking. The next room was nice with a high floor long canal balcony view. The beds were a little iffy overall but were sleepable while the pillows were way too soft. The last morning we woke up to take off and the shower would barely get above cold. Luke warm was an overstatement. Over all I say for the money there are probably better options in the area for sure. The only reason we got this one was it was supposed to be next to the convention center an event was supposed to be held at but got moved last minute and they wouldn’t allow for a cancellation.

Lobby smelled so much like cigarette I felt I was in Vegas.. Our AC when turned up a couple of degrees started smelling and stinking the room so badly. Towel pool assistant was very unfriendly and unprofessional. when we asked for towels it looked like we were bothering him and seemed upset to even help. My $49 branzino was completely overcooked. Luckily the mgr came over and had a new one made for me. Overall, not worth what we paid at all!
