Need to get more comfortable pillows as they are a bit flat and uncomfortable. This seems to be the case across multiple rooms as this is our second stay. Regardless, we will continue to stay here because we like the staff friendliness, cleanliness, and good views.

We booked a room and were given a different room, then told we’d have to pay additional fees for a change. We were told to contact Expedia to resolve this. We also asked for the fire pits to be turned on outside, since thats greatly advertised in the photos for the hotel, we were told they haven’t worked in months… we were charged an additional $50 a night for WiFi, beach towels, and other amenities that should be “included”. The only parking available is valet parking and it’s an additional $55 a night. The only nice people were the bar tenders..

If you're on the fence, rest assured: book The Maren. My husband actually booked the stay, which made me a little nervous since I’m usually the travel planner. He let the team know it was our anniversary trip and a honeymoon do-over (we got married in 2020), and asked if there were any special amenities he could add as a surprise. Their response? “No problem—we got this.” Fast forward to our arrival: after a hectic travel day, we walked into what might be the most gorgeous room I’ve ever stayed in—and I travel a lot. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed, with two balconies—one overlooking the marina, and the other large enough for a full table with chairs and recliners. The floor-to-ceiling doors opened nearly the entire span of the wall, letting in the warm breeze and the scent of saltwater. I was in heaven. As a surprise, the team had arranged a charcuterie tray, a bottle of wine, and a sweet card waiting in our room. That thoughtful gesture meant so much. The service was truly top-notch. Son, who greeted and checked us in, set the tone for our entire trip with his warm and helpful demeanor. Roger at the front desk made sure we had everything we needed. Sean’s positivity and local knowledge helped us plan some great activities—even on rainy days. And Natalie, we can’t thank you enough for organizing such lovely surprises. Without a doubt, we won’t be staying anywhere else when we visit Fort Lauderdale. The Maren has our hearts. Also go to Coconuts.

The hotel was in an amazing location. Parking rates for guests were a bit crazy. Also if you decide to go watch the sunrise on the beach be careful cause you be locked out of the hotel. There is a room key swipe and a bell but neither work and the front desk doesnt hear it. Room service food was actually good. The house keeping staff could use a little work. Left personal belongings thrown around the room (not where we left them) left items on the floor and shower floor also left their cleaning rags around the room. Overall it was a good location and a nice hotel. Would i stay again...probably!

Sean is always so kind and accommodating. At first, the valet said we wouldn't be able to park our Armada in the garage because of the bike rack on the back of the car. Once Sean was involved, he just made som He just made it happen. He is a gem!!

The Beach is so beautiful. The hotel is in the perfect location. and all people work at the hotel are so nice and friendly and the staffs work at the door , they are so nice. Each time when we went out , they opened the car door for us . And help us to took the luggages to the room when we arrived. We will for sure to stay here again. And I stayed at ocean side room, the view and the room are perfect.

Overall, our stay was decent. The highlight was definitely the balcony in our room, which we really enjoyed. The main restaurant was just okay, and the hotel itself was not as updated as we had expected. The pool was very small with limited seating, which was disappointing. We ended up purchasing a day pass at another hotel to enjoy a better pool experience. Unfortunately, we would not choose to stay here again.

Everyone was wonderful. Brian was awesome and very helpful to us with info as we’d never been there before. They allowed us to use their facilities past checkout time as we had a late flight so that was very nice having a place to hang out while we waited to fly out.

Love everything about this property - friendly staff, comfortable room with ocean-view, and walkable to everything. This is my go-to place in Ft. Lauderdale. Mattress was very comfortable. Only improvement opportunity is buying more comparable pillows. They were flat and I could feel the layers with my face and hands.
