Very clean , very helpful staff , amazing location … beach is so close and gorgeous! Pool is awesome!! Only bad thing was drinks were little pricey at pool bar .. and got virgin drinks but you are at a resort so I get it … no outside drinks or anything near pool deck. .. only negatives I saw but overall amazing time !!!!!

Planned a last minute beach getaway and found this hotel only 30 minutes away from the airport. We arrived at 11 am and were still able to check in to our 4 hours early thanks to the amazing receptionist. Room was clean and the beach was very accessible. The hotel also has a fitness center, pool, hot tub, and jet ski rental. My one small complaint is the small restaurant that is located inside the hotel. Food is a bit overpriced for what you get. And when we asked the staff for plastic utensils or condiments they told us to go ask house keeping. This does NOT takeaway from the rest of the hotel. We definitely recommend going here and will be back in the future.

Unexpected layover for our son and family so we decided to treat them. We paid for breakfast and we never were told we had to get vouchers, so son paid. When we tried to get a refund we were told the money was for the deposit. Clearly states on our reservation from Expedia we paid for breakfast and we were charged accordingly. Hope it was just an off day for the manager because her reaction to my complaint was abrupt and curt, didn’t even allow me to explain before telling me I should have asked for a voucher.

Though some of the employees at this hotel were very nice and professional—particularly the evening front desk staff who were welcoming and accommodating—my overall experience was disappointing due to a few rude and unprofessional individuals, especially the morning staff on Friday. I raised a concern about the excessive noise from being placed directly in front of both the elevator and ice machine. When I spoke to the manager (I believe her name was Caroline), she initially claimed there were no available rooms to move me. Only after I mentioned checking out did she suddenly find a room on the backside of the hotel, closer to the street and parking lot. What made matters worse was that when I returned to the front desk, Caroline and another staff member seemed to think the situation was a joke. Their dismissive attitude was incredibly unprofessional and left a bad impression. It’s disappointing to be treated like an inconvenience rather than a guest. This stay could have been much more pleasant if the morning management team took guest concerns seriously and acted with the same level of professionalism as the evening staff. just wasn’t my cup of tea.. horrible “partial ocean view” my view was of a roof with air conditioners. I didn’t see the ocean AT ALL. If you stay here DO NOT LET THEM PUT YOU ON THE 2nd floor, the views are terrible.

What i did not like was a roach in the room. The showers need to have full glass doors. The refrigerator was not stabilize and everytime you open the door it would come out. Other than that the stay was ok and nice to walk on the beach and enjoy the view.

We had a lovely trip but there are a few things that could have been improved. First the power in the room. The fuse blew out at least three times while we were blow drying our hair. The phone in the room never worked the entire stay so we had to walk down to let them know the power was out. The construction outside the room was very loud. This couldn’t be helped because it is next door, but it is something to consider if you aren’t an early riser. The beach was lovely, the pool was nice. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioner worked great. Just a couple hiccups.

I would probably not stay here again for the price. The room we were given the ac was leaking so we were moved to another room. I could see many were leaking from the balcony. Which had terrible veiws of their ugly roof tops. They do not clean room each day so towels and tp are not replaced. The wifi was horrible. Showers were not very hot but fine but showers don't have doors. The staff was very nice and helpful. Good amenities as well.

I’ve been a loyal guest of Ocean Sky Hotel & Resort in Fort Lauderdale for several years, typically visiting once or twice a year. Unfortunately, my most recent stay was extremely disappointing, especially given how much I used to enjoy staying here.The biggest letdown was the ocean view suite. The photos on Expedia and even the hotel's own website are outdated and do not reflect the current state of the rooms. In the past, the suite was spacious and open, offering a full, beautiful view of the ocean — exactly what you expect (and pay for) in an oceanfront stay. Now, a wall has been added in the middle of the room, and the so-called “ocean view” is just a small window with a partial view. It felt like false advertising, and the value is simply not there anymore for the price being charged. The cleaning staff was another disappointment. Not only was the room poorly cleaned, but towels and toiletries were removed and never replaced. Their attitudes were unprofessional and dismissive, which made the experience even more frustrating. The valet service was hit or miss. The evening valet staff lacked basic customer service skills — no greeting, no effort, and zero professionalism. Thankfully, the morning and early afternoon valet staff were the complete opposite: warm, welcoming, and clearly took pride in their work. The front desk staff were professional and friendly throughout the stay, which was one of the few highlights of the experience. All in all, it was a letdown.

Property had the expected components of a 3 start hotel. I was disappointed of their ability to understand accessibility issues and when we asked for shower mats, shower seat, or something that would help with a possibly unsafe bathroom for individuals with physical issues that tequired walkers, the person we spoke to at front desk said we dont have anything, and no one has ever said the showers are slippery, and that was it, she offered no other help for our situation.
