I have a LOT to say. First off, don’t book here. The pictures are NOTHING like what you actually get. While yes, a little dated but close to the beach, I said why not. Well… when we got there, the lights weren’t working well, dirty, the TV didn’t work, the wifi didn’t work, there was no hot water the entire stay. The room looks run down and unkept. Broken outdoor future that looks like they were trashed hand-me-downs… time of operation is incorrect on website. No manager on property all weekend… no sense of urgency, then there was a massive fight going on at 6:30am not allowing us to sleep, then someone reprimanding a dog “ supposedly it’s a service dog” next to the door, someone smoking “grass” in or around the room which the smell seeped into our room. This was a horrible experience. If I could give negative stars I would. Not sure where these “great stay” reviews are coming from because this is NOT it. All they have going for them is that they’re walking distance from the beach. I’m waiting to hear from someone to let me know if they would minimum refund me for a nights stay due to the circumstances listed above…

The pictures online are AI edited. The rooms are in poor condition, and not very clean. The fan had two out of four blades, the tv sucked. The stove was broken, and the walls are so thin. A family of about 7 people stayed next to us screaming all night long. It was probably one of the worst hotels I ever stayed at. I think it’s for sale, they need to knock it down. No shade to the front desk receptionist she was polite. She allowed me to choose the room. I said It was fine at first glance, but it really wasn’t. If you’re gonna stay here, bring your own towels because they only give you one.

This was by far as the dirtiest nastiest place I have ever stayed at towels ripped off the floor. The handles in the shower all broke the shower curtain rods broke. I’m gonna send you guys pictures because I really want my money back.

The location was great however the place was awful. Used underwater found in the room. Didn’t want to sit on anything. The tv was a joke. Like a computer monitor or something. The ceiling fan had an inch thick of dust on it. Do not waste your money.

Tuvimos una experiencia sumamente negativa en este hotel. Las condiciones de las instalaciones distan mucho de lo que se muestra en las fotos publicadas en Hoteles.com; es evidente que requieren una actualización urgente o, al menos, una representación más honesta. Además, lo más grave fue que abrieron paquetes de compras en línea que recibimos y sustrajeron artículos de su interior. El hotel no ofreció ninguna explicación ni asumió responsabilidad alguna por lo sucedido. The property has indoor plumbing , hot water, a friendly front desk. Only someone at desk from 10 am-6 pm. Mold in shower, A/C did not work, bedspread was stained, only 1 burner on the stove worked, needed to wash everything. The refrigerator worked. The room needs to be updated badly. The A/C dripped water even though it did not cool the room. The paint was peeling off the wall due to the leaking A/C unit. Very close to beach and broadwalk. The room was cheap.

Will stay again.

Friendly staff, great location, simple hotel. Kitchenette is a bonus for avoiding restaurants all the time. Pay attention to the check in! The office closes at 6:30 pm and you can’t get in after that. Overall would recommend if you want a simple clean room with fantastic access to Hollywood beach and the boardwalk

The Caroline is old and we heard it was purchased by a new owner and going to be tore down and redone. With that being said the gals in the office were the sweetest. As for the room. . it poured rain and we had a leak in the ceiling. They did offer us to move however, the tv did not work in the other room so we stayed. The place is old and we are ok with that however, it should have had upkeeps until sold. The shower had something by the drain where they had fixed it and it cut my foot. Love this area however, disappointed in the room and not being kept up. Again, the gals were amazing in the office and it is close to everything or you can get a Lyft or Uber for cheap.

Not so “Sweet Caroline”

The Caroline is a filthy and very disturbing place. The only thing clean about this place is the bedding. There is no privacy, all the windows have white sheer curtains without blinds or shades. Light from parking structure will enter at night time. The A/C was dripping all over the floor. The floors have never been scrubbed, they use the same mop without changing the water. Mold in the shower. Mold on the shower liner. Furniture is completely deteriorating.
