Wonderful experience. Very quiet and area felt safe. When we arrived we got a quick, helpful tour from Maureen around the complex. They provided beach equipment an umbrella, beach wagon, towels, chairs. The beach was a quick 5 min walk away. They have a grill and different seating areas around the property to enjoy. There is a restaurant and coffee shop across the street and a deli next door. The property has free bikes you can use during your stay. We stayed in the Birdhouse room. Which was perfect for our stay. It was a nice, quiet, clean place. We would happily stay again!

What a great place to stay on the island! The staff was so welcoming and helpful to all the property had to offer. The proximity to the beach with the bikes and the availability of having all we needed for the beach. Then having a great place to relax and sleep at. Would stay here again!

This place was beautiful and very accommodating. It was a short walk or bike ride to the beach. The room had everything we needed and beach chairs, beach cart and bicycles were provided. It was right across from a coffee and ice cream shop and a nice restaurant and a gift shop. I will definitely be back to visit.

Tarpon Tale Inn is conveniently located on east end of Sanibel Island. The Inn is right across the street from a really good restaurant (loved the coffee) and Magic Bus Ice Cream shop. The bed was very comfortable. Just need to be cautious of the step up into the bathroom! The hosts were very flexible! Proximity to beach - excellent (2 blocks) Property provides bikes, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella!!

Old Florida charm with modern amenities. Joe is super customer oriented. No details were missed, from the room itself and the grounds, with hammocks, bicycles, beach equipment readily available. Good restaurant across the street. Park your car, hop on a bike, and enjoy the charm son Sanibel.

The property had great location! Lighthouse beach was a short walk down the street. The property was nicely cared for on the outside & very clean & quiet on the inside . Joe was super helpful & answered all our questions & had great suggestions for sight seeing . Everything was provided from bikes to shelling equipment . A wonderful place to spend a week !!!

Joe, the owner is amazing. He wants you to have the best vacation ever and he is personally there to make sure it happens. The cottages have everything you need, the beds are extremely comfortable, they are remodeled and beautiful, they have kitchen items and all comforts of home. For the beach, he provides a beach wagon, beach towels, comfortable, beach, chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, everything you need to have a great time if you she’ll, he has a shelling station in shelling bags to collect your treasures He provided Bikes with helmets to tour the island and to see all the wonderful things Great location by stores and ice cream shop and coffee and restaurant There’s a fire pit at night and swings and hammocks and it’s a wonderful, relaxing place to enjoy the island. The hotel is on a quiet spot near Sanibel’s eastern tip. Nice, very clean room with several outdoor seating areas as well as an outdoor gas grill. Each room has free beach cart, towels, chairs and umbrella. Five minute walk to a quiet beach with good shelling. Plenty of free bikes. Joe and son are very helpful with anything you need. Like many hotels today, no daily maid service, but really not necessary. Overall a great stay.
