“Really liked the property. There were only 2 of us but it would have been more fun with a group. Great outdoor sitting space. It was cold and lots of extra blankets around. If you forgot something it was there for you. The only negative and it is a personal preference is there are other homes around. No one bothered us, we didn’t even see anyone. I felt perfectly safe, just a preference. The hosts were great. Called me to give me some tips to get there. Very appreciated.”

“Such a charming and cozy property. I knew when we walked along the garden path and entered to be welcomed by the kitchen hummingbird poster it was the place for us. The historic home was gorgeous -the wood floors and comfy furniture plus modern comforts mark this unique property. I can’t say enough about the quality furnishings, art, and other design elements. The live plants are another nice touch-beautiful! The local reading materials were great and so informative- we were reminded to visit……

“We had a wonderful stay at the cabin and even better time exploring WV! If you’re visiting the area for the national park, it’s definitely worth seeing in the winter and you will enjoy even more peaceful trails due to less crowds. Nice simple cabin with tons of outdoor options to relax and enjoy nature. We really enjoyed using the wood stove as a cozy escape from the ice and snow! We will definitely be returning once the weather warms up!”
