This is only a 1 star review, because you can't post a more negative value. That is what our stay should show as. The treatment by staff and management far overshadow the attached pictures.
On the second night of our stay, even though we already said to ourselves we will endure the unclean and shabby appearance, Kate the overnight staff came knocking on our door past 11:15 PM. PM, as in we were already in bed. "Our manager forgot to tell us, there are renovations planned for this room early in the morning and we need to relocate you to another room. She then took my wife to a smaller room on the first floor that hadn't been cleaned. We spoke up about leaving, and she said the manager, Sushil Patel okayed for you to stay in the original room for the night. This is close to midnight after Expedia, whom we booked through tried to call her, and she wouldn't answer it correctly, so my wife had to take her phone down to her. She wouldn't originally answer with the hotel's name.
The hotel staff told Expedia they will charge us not just for the two nights we were there, but also half of another day we weren't even there, declaring cancelation policy. Even though Amber, at the front said to our face, they wouldn't. Mr Sushil Patel doesn't communicate with his staff and his staff are either ignorant of what's happening or are liars.
Our bank will stop payment and reconcile the egregious charge.
