This property has been by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The hotel stay all The way to the Mangement are extremely disrespectful. I went down to the front to get bedding for the pull out bed at 11 pm he told me to come back in 15 mins to help the remaining people after I stood in line for 20 mins after he rekeyed a room. I told it’s cool I can wait 15 min 3 others behind me were also needing bedding. So he got upset and told me he was calling security to have me escorted out. “Security” came and gave me the bedding I asked for and apologized for the behavior of the front office receptionist

I don't want to be too positive about a hotel in the context of everything still going on in Orange County, but this one was surprisingly good in terms of what the business itself does, offers, and is responsible for.

The lock or card keys to the room was broken. A new card keys were replaced. The lock opened but I couldn’t closed it when I was leaving the room. The latch to the bolt stuck out. Service engineer was called. All and all, it took about 45 minutes and I was late to dinner reservations. The staff was not apologetic. Also, The ambiance of the room is dark that was my first impression. Not too fond of it. I wouldn’t be returning in the future.

They overcharged me $450 over what i was supposed to pay for my room! Then the customer service/front desk was NO HELP. Still havent gotten my money back. The pool wasnt heated and was freezing. And their shampoo made my daughters hair gross. The first lady i spoke with never even put my ticket (complaint) in and i had to create another one the next day when i didnt hear from anyone.

I accidentally booked the wrong night at Sonesta Select Huntington Beach Fountain Valley, but figured, no big deal — I'd just waltz up to the front desk and fix it. Easy, right? Instead, I was greeted by one grumpy man radiating the energy of a teen grounded from TikTok. I asked for help rebooking, and he presented my "yes" and "no" options with all the flair of a fine dining experience... except, instead of caviar, it was pure, unfiltered disdain. Apparently, booking through a third party made it beyond saving. No rescheduling, no solutions, just a very cheery reminder that I'd be paying for a room I wouldn’t be using. Thank you, sir, may I have another? BUT THEN — plot twist! Cue the morning clerk, a true beacon of hospitality. In under five minutes, she canceled my wrong booking, smiled, and even directed me to a painless refund process. (Seriously, promote her. Give her a cape. Maybe even a crown.) I've always liked this hotel for its location (10/10 for convenience!), but after that nighttime vibe check, I’m thinking it might be time to broaden my horizons.

Sink and shower were plugged (slowly drained). Lock was stuck. One of the electrical outlet didn't work. Cafe did not have several items on the menu. Staff was professional and friendly.

Average hotel. Some staff great, some not so much. Cleaning staff works hard, but the hotel is a touch aged. No hot tub. Not bad, but you wouldn't have your mom stay there on Mother's day!!! .

The average hotel. Smelled heavy of cigarette smoke in the 1st room we got, got a different one and it was fine. Looks clean otherwise, cozy bed. Feels safe. Thin walls but fell asleep easy.

Too high of a deposit and having to pay for parking in an empty parking lot. Beds entirely too high can’t get in them without a step stool. Male clerk that checked us in was very rude. Will not make a second stay.

Broken down and unkept. Booked for our 3 day Disney trip. It was not the miles away from Disney as stated online, instead it was 30 minutes away. Front desk barely acknowledged us after our initial check in, small lobby too. Bed was uncomfortable, there was hair in the shower, broken tiles in the bathroom, the worse 1ply toilet paper! The sink was on the outs of the bathroom, so it was just around the corner where everyone slept. No barrier. So each morning I had to tip toe around getting myself together before waking kids, iykyk. The smallest sink too, no vaniety, just small sink area. Just pass, hard pass.
