“Wonderful property with amazing hosts! They were incredibly responsive and provided clear, detailed instructions for everything. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you could need for a short or extended stay. We especially loved the two fire pits—one near the cabin and another by the pond. The boathouse was a bonus, stocked with camping chairs, kayaks, life vests, and more! Even the dirt road leading to the cabin was in good shape, if you’re not driving a truck or SUV. This place is now……

“To begin with, the residence is one of the best we've ever stayed in. The home is warm, charming and eclectic while being up to date with every convenience. We felt so welcomed by the towns people that we were able to join right in with the local activities - very fun, indeed. If you never leave Norman's Cove, there's plenty to do with several hiking trails and endless shores to wander. We found a jut of rock over the water just North of the cove where we could watch the whales come in at dinner……

“It was stated that there was an ocean view and I expected it would be from the front window or a deck but the view was from the bedroom !!!! The place was warm , would be nice if the place had a toaster or toaster oven . ”

“As a family of 10, this house met all of our needs and then some! From being greeted with a gift basket of goodies and a bottle of wine to having a sparkling clean house with plenty of room and space. I’ve never stayed in a more well stocked house - we didn’t need to buy anything except food. Location was perfect allowing us to strike out to various spots in the Avalon region within 1.5 hours drive. The host was very helpful and gracious if we needed anything. Highly recommend!!!”

Relatively close to St. John's - Norman's Cove - Long Cove is a delightful community, with friendly, welcoming people, and great ocean views.Karl's property was cozy, well equipped, and provided a fantastic base from which to take day trips to the Baccalieu Trail, Trinity, and St. John's. The property is located just a few minutes walk to two really excellent……
