Plenty of space to spread out and relax, and we would have liked to stay a little longer. Owners are extremely attentive to their renters and assist when needed. We enjoyed taking walks in the neighborhood with so many stately old homes. Thank you for being pet friendly.”

“Very nice place to stay. The vicinity next to the busy road, while a little unsettling at first, was NO problem at all. Convenient to museums and restaurants with easy walks. Something I comment with 90% of vacation rentals…..Kleenex??!! Why can’t a box of tissue be thought of by property managers? Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Widow Douglas’ .”

“My family of 8 came and stayed here for 2 nights while boating at Mark Twain Lake. We absolutely loved this house and it was so close to the marina. This house was very clean with extra supplies, soap, towels etc. and we thank you for that. The open concept with the garage was also a great hang out for my kids and the pond out front was used to go fishing with my daughter early morning. I wish we could of stayed longer. We will definitely be back next year.”

“We had a hiccup the original house we had returned was damaged but we were put into a different house and was accompanied for the change. The only thing was some of the locals were less than desirable. Otherwise was all great!!”

“It was just what you need near Mark Twain Lake. Perfect cozy little cabin with a fire pit. Keeping things simple and easy in turn makes it good for a calming relaxing atmosphere. Still big enough to easily sleep 6 or more. ”
