“This was a lovely retreat up in the mountains on the winding road to Spruce Knob. We enjoyed the grill and fire-pit very much! We were a little confused about the inverter for power which was off when we first arrived. “My husband camped in the George Washington National Forest for many years until giving that up for health reasons. I found this sweet guest house, which was perfect for us and our dog Cookie. The decor is enchanting and the place was spotless. Michelle was friendly and welcoming, and she thought of special touches to make the visit a great experience. “This house is everything it says it is. Out of the way but a great place to get together with friends and family to make new memories. “A beautiful spot, the location was spectacular, other than the two mile trail getting to the house it didn’t help that it snowed the night before making it a little interesting getting down the mountain. The only thing I was a little bit sad with the American flag outside. It was very tattered. Being a veteran and a member of a VFW I dispose of it in a the proper way.
