The stay was decent overall. I would stay here again if I had to or was on a budget, but there were definitely some things that could have been better. I was glad I brought my own towels and washcloths because the ones provided had hair, stains, and marks on them. Cleanliness could have been improved in general—sheets could have been cleaner, surfaces were dusty, and the floors needed more attention.
One thing I really didn’t appreciate was that I had the Do Not Disturb sign on my door, yet housekeeping still tried to enter my room. As a female traveling alone, that didn’t feel safe. Not only is it concerning that they could have walked in while I was there, but if I had left the room, they could have come in and anything could have been touched or taken. When a Do Not Disturb sign is on the door, it’s there for a reason, and that should be respected. This is definitely something management should take more seriously to protect guests and their belongings.
On a positive note, I appreciated having a TV, microwave, and fridge in the room. But overall, it was just an average stay—nothing great that would make me want to come back unless I had no other option.
