This bright and airy cottage, about 10 miles away from the heart of Fredericksburg, is part of Messina Hof Hill Country, a cluster of four private rentals just steps from the renowned Messina Hof tasting room. With lofty ceilings, classic furnishings, and central heat and air-conditioning, the living area is bright, spacious, and comfortable. Wake up each morning to freshly brewed coffee on the wet bar, which also features a sink, a microwave, and small refrigerator for storing your souvenir bottles. And as the sun begins to set each evening, step outside on your private back deck to enjoy a bottle of local wine and gorgeous views of the Texas Hill Country. After a day of hiking and climbing in the wondrous Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, return home to relax in front of the cable TV or use the WiFi to plan the next day's adventures.
Whether you're a wine enthusiast or a history lover, you'll find endless opportunities for entertainment in and around Fredericksburg. When you're not sampling Messina Hof's superb wines just a few feet away, you'll find a number of other excellent local wineries within a short walk or drive.

We’re excited to inform you that this unit utilizes a comfortable style of bed-making known as Triple Sheeting. Triple Sheeting is proven to be more hygienic and is used by five-star hotels around the world. It consists of a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, a blanket, and finally a decorative top sheet. Due to this change, the pictures for this home may not accurately represent the bedding that will appear during your stay. This has not affected any other amenities or the amount of beds available.
Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
