Newly built, but vintage feel incorporating locally salvaged materials with all the modern amenities you enjoy - luxurious linens on a king bed, antique dresser, great lighting and ceiling fans with remotes throughout, cozy reading corner large bedroom, fluffy robes & bath towels, walk-in shower, comfort height toilet (all ADA friendly), travertine and antique oak flooring, fully outfitted kitchen with stainless appliances & granite countertops, antique oak dining table with leather upholstered dining chairs, covered porches front & rear with outdoor grill & great seating for wildlife watching - all on a historic German farmstead at the edge of historic Fredericksburg, Beautiful wood burning rock fireplace in the living room for those chilly evenings, but a cozy faux fire burns during the summertime, too! Smart television and free wifi, along with coffees, cream & flavored creamers, teas, and snacks to make your visit comfortable in this ADA friendly retreat. Valentine getaway
The cottage was beyond awesome. The host created a beautifully decorated farm house. No details were left out. They provide lots of tips on activities and restaurants. The cottage had Valentine treats. When we arrived it was very warm and welcoming including lighting, music, and wood already set in the fireplace. The back porch had deer corn for several deer who came in the early morning and dusk Fredericksburg is an excellent escape. This cottage is secluded and on private property. The host and cottage are beyond 5 star

Best VRBO yet
This was our best stay yet. The house was perfect. It had everything we needed and then some. I wouldn't change a thing about our stay. Getting to feed the deer was a plus. Great job Lynn and Jerry. We will definitely be back.

Great cabin
Very comfortable cabin in a quiet location, but convenient to restaurants and shops with a short drive. Interior tastefully decorated by Lynn and property remodeled and maintained by Jerry. They also provided corn to feed the deer right off the back porch! The deer apparently expect their Jerry and Lynn snack at least twice a day, so I complied! I would highly recommend this property.

Fredericksburg retreat
This cottage, the location and our entire stay was awesome. The hosts have made sure everything you could possibly want is provided. This cottage is immaculately well kept, cozy and comfortable. Decorations were beautiful; there was even a Christmas tree! My husband especially enjoyed sitting on the porch, watching and feeding the deer. I cannot think of anything negative to say about this cottage or the hosts. When we return to Fredericksburg in the future, we wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else.

Spotted Fawn Cottage
Lynn, & Jerry are gracious and personable hosts. Our stay was nothing but a positive experience as it was in our previous visit. The cottage is very comfortable, seasonally decorated, short of no details, close to the downtown area and restaurants. Deer come up to the back porch fence and eat corn while you are relaxing in the comfortable outdoor furniture. Highly recommend staying here.

The process was simple and the hosts instructions were very easy to follow. The stay was amazing in every way to the cleanliness of the property to feeding the deer every morning and dusk. It was really close to main street so going out during the day to see Fredericksburg and returning at night was a huge plus. Lynne and Jerry were the best hosts and they made our stay very pleasant and wonderful! Will definitely be booking with them again in the future

Cabin with a view
Cabin had everything you would possibly need. Very neat and clean. The way it was decorated and furnished made it a very relaxing and comfortable place to stay. Corn to feed the deer was an added bonus. Deer showed up to be fed more times a day than you would expect. Close to town but away enough that you felt that you were in the country. We would recommend it to anyone and hope to come back soon!
