“The was my second stay at this cabin, and it was amazing both times. The host was very responsive to any questions we had and we had no issues whatsoever during our stay. Highly recommend this cabin if you want privacy and to be about as close as possible to the river.”

“My three old friends and I had a relaxing, peaceful weekend in this beautiful cabin in the woods. Only the sounds of nature accompanied us as we sat around the fire pit and reminisced. When we first arrived we found out from the owner they’d been made aware of the hot water heater not working as it should. They had maintenance come while we out for dinner, and by the time we got back, everything was fixed and the hot water was fine. It was truly impressive with how swiftly they took care of the……

“i stayed at the cabin for a week, and enjoyed the peace and quiet of being in the middle of nowhere. i took long walks with my dog, lounged in the hot tub (very nice), gathered eggs from the chickens, learned the history of the cabin, and got together with friends living close by. it's not too far away from perryville, so i made a few trips to town.”

“overall we had a great stay. everything was as expected. Justin was great to communicate with. The mattress on the murphy pull out bed on the wall was pretty stained so we did not feel comfortable using it. We brought a blow up air mattress so that saved us. They did have a blow up mattress there but it wouldn't hold air. we would go back if we planed another float trip to the black river. ”

“Everything was perfect (except for the weather at check-in!). The location is wonderful, we loved the bathroom/showers and greenhouse where we could hang and eat and admire Benka's plants! (So many orchids!). Keith was an awesome host filling us in on everything - even the surrounding area. The walking paths are beautiful and serine. The additional 5 canine hosts were adorable and Mici I'm so sorry you didn't spend at least one night with us! I wish we would have been able to stay longer……
