“We love love love this house!! We have stayed twice now and look forward to staying again!! Our family of 7 and 2 dogs fit perfectly with no hassle!! The property is beautiful from the amazing farm views during the day to the hundreds of lighting bugs at night! You can hear nothing but the beautiful sounds of mother nature! The daytime hours are alive in the town and silent and peaceful at night!! If you have kids that enjoy running and playing outside there is enough space to explore and have……

“Another great stay for my family of 6. It is the perfect place to relax and have fun on the river. The host was great with responding quickly to any questions I had. During our stay we went over to the campground to swim and spent an evening at Knoebels. We will be looking to stay here again next summer! ”

“We stayed in a cabin so my comments only apply to our experience there., The property is very pretty, there is a pond or two, a shuffleboard course, a mini golf course and a playground or two. There was a pool but it was closed when we were there (late Sept). The two small issues that I would bring up are 1) the showers seem to be either completely hot or cold but nothing in between and 2) mattresses in the cabins are a bit stiff. Not a problem for us but it may be for others. ”

Easy self check-in and great communication from the host. ”

“We spent two nights to enjoy a full day in the state forests. The cabin was very clean. It's exactly as pictured. A small space with a couple beds and a table. The showers are a 2-3 minute walk from the cabin, or a shorter drive. The check-in/check-out process was very easy.”

“Me and my friends just spent our New Year's here for two nights. The man cave lives up to its name-- we spent a good deal of the weekend playing pool, darts, and card games, used the grill, and were just a few blocks off from some great food and liquor stores. I'd imagine any sort of group would enjoy coming here, though, given other advantages like access to trails and monuments in historic PA. Everything worked just as we wanted it to, and Mary's filled out the space to create a great place……
