“The cabin we stayed in was the smaller of the 3, it is a little small with the bed down but still very comfortable for 2. There is definitely care that they put into these cabins, by how well they have been built. The bathroom is ample for 2 people and the Kitchenet has everything you need. The barbecue works well and the hosts make sure you have everything you need. I wouldn’t think twice about staying here again it was that good and well worth the price for a weeks stay. ”

With a lighthouse and beach within walking distance, and overlooking a working harbor across the street, it is absolutely the ideal for experiencing the best of this area of Nova Scotia. “These hosts are very friendly and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. They even came looking to find us when we couldn’t find the entrance to their property! The stairs up to the loft sleeping area are very steep, but the bed was extremely comfortable. If someone can’t manage the stairs, there is a pull out sofa also provided. Great location when looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. ”

The house itself accommodated 4 families very comfortably and every little detail was meticulously thought through - host Madison & Jody have clearly put their heart & soul into this place which honours the local Acadian traditions.
