“This was the most relaxing stay! We were deep in the countryside in our own stone village with great amenities and fresh bread, fruit, cheese, jam and honey for our kitchen every day. No restaurant on site or in walking distance but it was fun and challenging diving around exploring the region on back roads to get to the each town with its castle and church. ”

“Nice apartment with everything needed for a short stay. Large comfortable bed, kitchen area, dining table and a well equipped shower room. Everything was perfectly clean and good condition. Also a perfect location, one minute walk from the town square with lots of cafes and bars, near the cathedral and about a ten minute walk from the castle. Leiria is also a lovely town to visit.”

“We have a fantastic time at Casa EmCanto we were a family group with children aged 6 months to 10years. The facilities were amazing and enabled a really relaxing hoilday for us all. “The hosts, Maria and Victor were awesome! At our request, Maria had the kindness to cook for us 3 of the 4 days we stayed at their beautiful place. She’s an amazing cook! We enjoyed the best meals at a very reasonable price. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for a countryside experience in Portugal. They also have a beautiful pool and pool area. .everything was amazing!”

Nos quartos os roupeiros estão cheios de coisas dos proprietários e na cozinha muita da louça nos armários estava mal lavada para poder ser usada. Piscina e espaço exterior agradável, não fosse o cheiro a esgoto que se vai sentido naquela zona, provavelmente proveniente de uma fossa ou de uma caixa mal vedada. ”

“Absolutely fantastic villa for peace and quite and set in its own mini valley.Just one property nearby and that is the wonderful owners who are so helpful and nice but respect your privacy too.The villa has a lovely outdoor area to eat and drink overlooking the woods and large gardens that are kept so nicely.The pool is very clean and well maintained.We found everything we needed in the villa with some nice extras provided by the host.The nearest supermarket is just 5 mins away by car or 20……

“This is a beautiful house with heated floors, a heated pool and a hot tub (and all 3 worked which isn't always the case with a rental). Our 9 year old loved the pool and slide, we all loved barbecuing on the outside fire (you need to go into town to get the briquets) and we loved the spacious well-appointed house.
