Would benefit from more bath towels (used a beach towel for one guest) and a bedside table/lamp in the king bedroom and single bedroom (had to turn off overhead light by door and then make way in the dark to the bed). Property met our needs, and the kitchen was well-stocked (except for no toaster!).”

“We booked this place for 12 adults and it was last minute as the previously booked location cancelled the day before the trip. We doubled up in each room. It had everything we needed plus a pool. It is located close to numerous wineries and is right next door to the brewery. There was plenty of parking for everyone. The place was clean and checkin and checkout was easy. We property manager was quick to reply to any questions we had. The view was amazing especially for the sunrise!”

“We were a multi-generation family celebrating birthdays and a 60th wedding anniversary over the long Easter weekend. The house was beautiful and the location was very peaceful. Although the house is modern in style, it is also very comfortable. There was plenty of room for the various family groups to spread out. We loved all of the extras that were included - kayaks, paddle boards, life vests, firewood and starter toiletries and coffee. The host was very responsive and easy to work with.……

“This is an amazing property for those that would like to step back in time and enjoy a unique stay. Vern does a great job of communicating throughout the process, and there are instructions to be found through the property for do's and don'ts given the historic nature of the property.It feels like there are little things to discover in every nook and cranny. “Old time charm on the outside; clean, new and modern on the inside. The rental is small, but nicely done with modern features. The stone fireplace is so pretty with an electric stove inside. The bedroom was lovely with a comfy, king bed. The best part is the screened in porch that runs the whole length of the house. There’s a sectional sofa and coffee table, two rockers, and a table with four chairs on the porch. You can appreciate the old windows with their wooden shutters from back in time. We……

“Lovely spot adjacent to an area winery. Nice open views of open fields. Walking access to battlefield trails. Not far to explore Harper's Ferry,. Sheperdstown close by for delicious dinner out. A couple of breweries added to the end of hike experience. Three bedrooms gave us room to stretch out (I used one for sewing while it rained!). Kitchen well appointed. A terrific place to stay.”
