“The house was clean and organized. Everything we expected plus more. This was a relaxing vacation. The first night we took a short walk outside and saw a bunch of deer. I definitely recommend this place. ”

“Cabin was lovely in a secluded spot. Close to Cacapon park hiking, horseback riding, and shotgun shooting. Also Morgan County Observatory was close. Of course Berkley Speings was nice too! Rounded out each day in the hot tub!”

“We had the perfect relaxing getaway. The fireplace was amazing, kitchen had everything you need and the view from the deck was great for watching the eagles. There is plenty of room to spread out. A highlight for us was the steam shower!!! We will be back.”

“We really enjoyed Whiskey Acres! The host left us an adorable welcome basket- even included the pup. The home is private, you can only see one other residence and there is a little creek that the pup loved romping in. The outdoor activities were a blast. Note for folks looking to book the home, there is one bathroom which is only accessible through the large bedroom. This could be awkward for some. ”

“The description and pictures accurately reflect the property—it was just what we expected. We really enjoyed having BBQs out on the deck and making s’mores around the fire pit in the evenings. The location is peaceful and perfect for a relaxing family trip. The cabin itself is cozy and had everything we needed. Tony was quick to respond to any questions or requests we had during our stay. Overall, a good experience!”

“This was our second time visiting and we enjoyed ourselves again! The house is very comfortable and the outside space is relaxing.”

“The cabin was nicely located on the river, but was a little loud at times from truck noise on the road. Interior was clean and comfortable. The code wasn't updated at check-in, and it took us about 5-10 minutes of standing outside at night to get it resolved. Also, the guest house lights randomly went on during our second evening and shone bright lights into the cabin. Manager did not respond until the next morning.”

“My wife and I were looking for a place like this to spend the weekend and have some quiet time away from the "city." The house was very clean, our dogs loved the large backyard, and we enjoyed our stay! The host keeps a large supply of cookware/utensils and we had everything we needed to cook dinner. There is also a huge collection of board games which we had not played in a long time. It was a relaxing weekend, and we did not have any issues during our stay. Would highly recommend this place! ”

There are special touches everywhere. We had a slight issue at check-in, but Paul was easy to contact and he fixed it immediately. I would definitely stay again!”
