The television didn’t work. When I tried to call the desk, the phone didn’t work either. We ended up fixing it ourselves. The door on the fridge was broken. The room was fine with fresh linens…the bathroom could use a redo tho. It was very convenient so close to the beach and a Kroger next door. The fee for our rescue dogs was very good and I was happy.

We planned a trip getaway and had a great time there. We got a room for 3 nights and 4days was what we needed. The stay was so relaxing and the breakfast was good. However, the view we had was amazing beachfront is what exactly I paid for. Walked to close by stores and restaurants and the beach is literally across the street. The hotel pool was relaxing as well. Would definitely be making another trip out their again soon.

The hotel was good. The staff was very nice. Only issue we had was it was supposed to be non-smoking, but there were people smoking outside of our room.

The reviews we read are bogus. The hotel was merely OK, not a 8 or 10 out of 10, more like a 3 or 4. This was not a hotel experience. This is a glorified motel. Service was non existent. You have to schedule room service, or bring towels to the front desk for an exchange. BTW The maid refused an exchange. The front desk didn’t have enough to exchange. Instead of dropping them off during the day we had to return for them at our inconveniece. There's 1 elevator (that sounded like it would fall at the top floor), so you use the stairs. They were filthy and littered with cigarette butts, trash and a dead roach that was never cleaned up. The hotel allows pets. While its a pet owners responsibility to clean up poop, the poop sat in the walkway for 3 days. The room was not horrible. The bed comfortable. The AC worked very well. However, the room is rundown. The front door looked like it survived an urban battle. The bathroom door was broken at thebottom. The lack of housekeeping caused mold in the shower. The shower was operational, but physically difficult to activate. My wife needed help. The sink faucet was loose. The breakfast was Ok but not really tasty or appealing. My rating is subjective, but a lot more honest than the 8 and 10 I saw. Very disappointed because it was sold as something much bettter than it was.

Good location to walk out to Seawall, but photos make it look WAAAAAY nicer than it is. Run-down and old. Mold on bathroom ceiling. Paint peeling. More like a roadside motel than a midlevel hotel. With so many Galveston options, i would never stay here again.

It was ok for the price. I give a lot of leeway for it being a lil moldy, bc it is near the water. The elevator does need to be updated. But again i give it leeway due to age and being near the water. The beds werent comfortable. And the pillows look fluffy but are instantly flat. Their shampoo is awful for any hair type. So bring your own. We werent given any kind of soap or conditioner. But, for the price, i wont complain that much.

This hotel is an old property, feels more like a motel. We stayed during a holiday weekend so price is quite high, I don’t think it’s worth the price that we paid for. It had window AC unit and at night our floor was wet with condensation. The parking lot and walkways are littered with trash.

The room smelled like smoke. Bathroom was dirty. Floors needed vacuuming. All the garbage cans around the resort were full. The breakfast was cold. Cereal dispensers broken. The bathroom in the lobby, first stall was covered in excrement. The elevator floor was spongy. The clerk was up checked us in was more interested in talking to a different employee than checking us in. The ice dispenser doesn’t work. I could go on. A big, bitter disappointment.

The overall environment of the property was friendly and family oriented. The front desk and maintenance were polite and ready to help. The pool and room were very clean and well kept. The only issue I had while staying there was the toilet. Its an older motel so the toilet didnt flush as fast as the new ones and needed maintenance to check it out after not working. The issue was fixed right away,. Also the free breakfast was delicious and had different options to choose from. Will overall rate my stay an 8 out of 10.
