Come explore the amazing location of this updated historical home!

The space: This is our unit, Pearl.
It's an upstairs unit that is part of a triplex, 1 downstairs and 2 upstairs. Originally built in 1910, this home is part of the Silk Stocking historic district. Although the space has been updated, it still retains its old-world charm and inviting feel.

We are centrally located close to the famous Seawall Ave. and the historic Strand District.

Amazing stay in Galveston and pet friendly!!!!

We had an amazing stay in Galveston and this home made our first vacation with our puppy so easy and convenient!! The home was very clean and comfortable! The welcome guide was great for first time visitors! Everything we needed was provided in the home(except for pot holders) and there was also wagons, umbrellas and beach chairs provided outside. (Not in perfect condition, but useful if needed.) We loved the outside seating and grilling area. We purchased firewood from Kroger but it wasn’t the best wood. Fire was very difficult to start. If you bring a dog, this home is great because the yard is fully fenced in and there is a designated area for going potty and the outdoor shower on site is perfect for rinsing off after coming back from the beach!

Well furnished. Good communication with host. Unfortunately, we were there in cold, wet weather and the unit was a bit cold. Otherwise, this is a nice stay.

Has everything needed

We got there during the tropical storm and the Wi-Fi was out. It was spotty the whole stay. The manager tried to help and it worked temporarily then quit again. The bedroom ceiling leaked I’m sure because of excess water. When we were leaving someone came to check it out. I don’t understand why I paid for a cleaning service when we were asked to empty the trash, take it out to the trash bin downstairs, load dishwasher and hand wash pots, pans, and knives. I was impressed by what was provided. Truly if you use what they have you wouldn’t need to bring much. Beach wagon, boogie boards, and even blow up ladder in case you get trapped upstairs. If the Wi-Fi worked I would have given 5 stars.
