This property had a great location. But the hotel itself had some issues. The beds in the rooms were extremely uncomfortable. We also were unable to shower one of the days we were there.

Eyre Square was literally steps from the train/bus station which we were using for transportation in and out of Galway. Close and walkable to the areas we were wanting to explore in Galway. Reception staff were especially helpful in suggesting places to go and how to get there. Restaurant and bar within the hotel and we used them several times. Overall a great choice to stay in Galway.

Tough one to review, as the location is amazing, 2 minute walk at most to train station, easy walk to many eating options and shopping. Plus 10 minute walk to Aran Island Tour Ferry dock. Staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. But we found the room very muggy and warm at night. We were in Galway when it was sunny and warm.

The room was off the bar exactly, with a table full of drinkers covering the door in, and paid €277 which was ridiculous but I was stuck and only room in Galway

Good in a pinch, suitable if you need a place last minute. For the price, the rooms were a little disappointing.. Older, stuffy and not as advertised. Had problems with the shower and poor ventilation. But, the beds were clean and comfy, and the staff were friendly.

In a pinch this would work but there was a few issues: Key card kept deactivating, Wifi was not working & cleanliness could have been better. Pros : Staff and good location.
