“I was looking for a place to write and walk about Galway. This was a great location and VERY quiet! Expect a mile walk to get most places but there was a fantastic little pub three blocks away with nightly music by local friends sitting together, not a tourist place. I chose this place to be sort of near the train station but not in the heart of the city. It was a short Uber ride, too long to walk with a suitcase unless your quite fit or the wheels of your suitcase are quite sturdy, more to the……

“Fabulous views and location on the water, very near the centre of town. Four good comfortable double beds, 3 bathrooms with showers and toilets, plenty of towels, blankets, pillows etc. Kitchen well provisioned with some nice extras provided: milk, cereal, waters, cokes, biscuits, coffee beans with grinder and coffee filters/machine etc. All nice and clean. Good communication with host, thanks Pamela!”

“The big pros of this place are location and size! A once in a lifetime trip with adult children/spouses and this space was large enough for the 7 of us and it is close enough to walk to public transit around Ireland. Easy to communicate with and check in/check out easy. Part of our group ended up delayed by a day but part of us made it and check in and communication was everything! Please note that by American standards the bathrooms/showers are small but there are enough that the space works……

“The property is in an ideal location for Galway City and surrounding area.. It is dated and could do with some TLC ,along with the garden. The local area has some fantastic scenery and is almost a step back in time. The local Pub restaurant has a great atmosphere ,and the food and beer were marvellous! ”

“The price was high, but by far the best accommodation we had in Ireland. The host checked in that everything was okay, had good suggestions what to see in Galway. One suggestion was to walk downtown. Faster and easier than driving. They came in midweek to change the bedding. A fully equipped kitchen, and a grocery store across the road made meals easy. The Huntsman Inn restaurant and pubs were across the parking lot, so no need to drive. Truly a first class facility. ”
