“Great communication with host. View onto the lake is stunning. Plenty of furniture outside to enjoy the view. Location is pretty central to Wendy’s Market, Elgin and Westport to stock up on groceries. House had all we needed (laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, clean towels/linens. AC was nice to have as it was hot during our stay. House was cleaned nicely for our arrival. ”

“My wife and I had a great stay for our anniversary weekend! Beautiful private island with lots of yard space for the dog to run around! The cottage has everything you need and lots of seating both indoors and out. We especially loved the access to the boathouse keeping our boat protected from the elements! A short trip to the Ivy Restaurant gave us a break from cooking responsibilities for a night and provided a beautiful view looking back toward the island. We had an amazing stay and can’t wait……

“This is a beautiful property. Everything exactly as pictured.Location was private but an easy drive to activities and nearby villages. Our host Dwayne was friendly and welcoming and met us at the property to make sure everything was okay.We would definitely stay here again.”

“A lovely cottage in Lake Opinicon. Several outdoor seating areas with lots of privacy and a well equipped kitchen. We did not use the loft bed, it's up quite a steep ladder. Comfy mattresses if a little on the soft side for me personally. There are kayaks and paddle boards for guests use which is fantastic as the lake is really beautiful to explore. Bill and Kim are lovely and super welcoming. Highly recommend. ”
