“Great stay! Beautiful inside the yurt and very cozy. They had the a.c. running before we arrived which was great as the temp that day was 90 degrees. The yurt stayed nice and cool. We only stayed 1 night but would have loved to stay longer. The walk up to the yurt from parking area #1 is steep but not too long. My kids and I were able to walk it in sandals and crocs. “Loved the house and area, road in kind of sucked for a one ton truck pulling a 20’ trailer but we did just fine once situated. Very quiet and full of game animals morning and evening ! “House is as advertised. Clean, beautiful property, wonderful views, wildlife, quiet, relaxing. I have nothing but positive to say about this property or the property manager. My work schedule changed last minute and I was able to go to Garden Valley a day early. Unfortunately Doki Dojo was not available when I contacted Ruben but he made some calls and helped us locate a place to stay the first night. Truly a 5 star experience. “Kitchen has everything you could possibly want and the variety of games, toys, kayaks and things to do is wonderful. The kids loved kayaking in the river and pickleball, darts, volleyball, air hockey and hammock chairs were big hits. It was a perfect long weekend. The only thing we couldn’t find was a hair dryer and a fly swatter so we bought one.”

“Had a little weekend retreat here and it was everything we wanted. Cabin was clean when we arrived, views were incredible and location was nice! We went golfing at the resort nearby (5 minute drive from the cabin. For those doing this tee times can be booked two weeks in advance and I’d recommend this as tee times fill up quick.), but again, the cabin was great! Space was nice! Only recommendations I’d gave, maybe “redoing” the outdoor fireplace and maybe having some fans available for those hot……

“We had a lovely stay. Kelly, our host was super helpful and communicative. The house is lovely, unique, so well decorated, and everything is so well organized. Everything we could possibly need was there. Our kids, 21 and 17 loved the room with the alcove beds. The fire pit is in a great location overlooking the river. The hot tub was a wonderful way to unwind. Our stay couldn’t have been nicer!”
