Bear Creek Cabin 2 - 1040 Sq feet cabin

***Yellowstone north entrance between Gardiner and Mammoth reopened to visitor vehicles in October 2022****

This 2019 built, gorgeous 1,040 square ft log cabin, is located in the old mining town of Jardine. Jardine is 5 - 6 miles up a county maintained dirt road from Gardiner, Montana, the original entrance to Yellowstone! The cabin, along with our other three cabins, sits on just over 12 acres of property that borders national forest land.

The old Jardine mine site is part of the beautiful and unique mountain view, as well as being able to see and hear Bear Creek from your back patio! There are also beautiful hiking trails just a short walk from the front door!

If you are looking for a mountain get-away to be able to escape from the crowds after a busy day of activity in the park, then this is the perfect place for you!

*2 big bathrooms with shower (no tub)

*picnic table and propane grill on the deck

*Only VERIZON cell service works in this area. Otherwise you have to drive to Gardiner for phone calls.

Please note, WiFi internet service is provided via satellite. Service may be spotty at times, and is not always suitable for streaming services.

**Winter guests are encouraged to travel in AWD or 4WD vehicles in case of snowy or icy roads.**

A beautiful cabin

This worked perfectly for the 4 of us (2 couples). The amenities were so generous, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. A very quiet location with a creek behind the cabin, so nice to listen to! The interior of the cabin is gorgeous. We will definitely stay here again!

Clean and Convenient

Cabin was clean and located close to the north entrance of Yellowstone. Cabin is in a grouping of three cabins and close to a river. The drive up as others have said is a gravel road that is quite bumpy but not horrible. We were impressed that the property owner texted us and told us that a couple breakers may trip with an on coming storm. Definitely would recomend this property.

The drive up the dirt road is worth the stay at this fabulous property. Directly behind the property through a small wooded path is a beautiful stream. The beds were extremely comfortable and the apartment was well stocked with kitchen appliances.

The Perfect Cabin.

As a NY resident, the desire was to have a full Montana experience after hiking and sightseeing in Yellowstone, and this cabin provided just that and more. Impeccably clean, with nothing o want for, our family of four immediately fell in love with the authenticity and location of this cabin experience. The host was extremely communicative and wonderful to work with and the home is simply beautiful. Spacious for our family of four and one of my most favorite properties I have ever stayed in. Fantastic cabin near Yellowstone

The cabin was fantastic. Well equipped and comfortable, set right along side a little river. The views were spectacular. The drive from Gardiner to the cabin was longer than originally anticipated but was quite beautiful with a ton of wildlife, mostly Elk, to be seen along the way. I would definitely stay here again given the opportunity!

Quiet tuck away on bear creek!

A lovely clean cabin set off of bear creek. You can hear the rushing waters off the back deck and see horses in nearby field. Trail access is nearby and we enjoyed our hike which was quiet, secluded and beautiful. Great location for peace and calm just outside of north Yellowstone park entrance. Highly recommend.

Yellowstone vacation

The cabin had every comfort and convenience possible and we truly enjoyed the peacefulness of the location. We enjoyed listening to the sounds of the rushing river behind the cabin and watching the horses graze at the property across the way. The beds were so comfortable and much appreciated after long days of touring Yellowstone. Wouldn’t change a thing! Favorite part was driving down the hills to Gardiner and seeing the gorgeous views and wildflowers in bloom everywhere. We had so much fun!

Peace on Bear Creek

This property was exactly as described. It was so peaceful. We thought the location was great for exploring Yellowstone and Gardiner. We enjoyed the creek running behind the property. The cabin was very clean with great amenities. The only suggestion would be for more or brighter lighting in the bathrooms and bedrooms, but this isn't something that would deter us from staying here again. Thanks for a wonderful home away from home for our stay!

The cabin was great. The managment superb .Only issue was the drive uo to the cabin will tear up your vehicle.I know this is not their fault but for that readon I would not return unless the road is fixed.

Great Cabin

Stayed a week and it could not have been better. Andrew and Julie were Great Host and responded promptly to our questions and needs. On the drive up to the cabin from Gardiner, we got to view lots of Elk, a Fox and numerous other wildlife. We cracked our windows at night to enjoy the sound of the rushing creek in the backyard. The beds were VERY comfortable which made for some fantastic sleep. The cabin was perfect for our stay and well equipped for all our needs. We would Definitely stay here again and would recommend to our friends and family.

The cabin was wonderful, really enjoyed it. Gardiner leaves a lot to be desired. Restaurants are the absolute worst and over priced. The grocery store in town is taking full advantage of being the only store. Bring your own food and enjoy the cabin

Amazing cabin right outside Yellowstone

We enjoyed everything about our stay at Bear creek cabins. The cabin itself was immaculate and had every amenity you could think of. The sound of the creek was wonderful to listen to with our windows cracked open at night. The park is a quick drive down the mountain and straight through the North entrance. The property managers were very friendly and quick to respond with any question we had. We highly recommend this cabin and will be back!

Quick trip to Yellowstone

Absolutely wonderful cabin with perfect proximity to Yellowstone! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and utensils so we cooked dinner both nights on the back porch grill. Very easy check in and check out procedure. Would highly recommend this cabin.
