We went on a cross country road trip and stayed at many hotels. This wasn’t the very worst, but it certainly was next up. Food & debris all over the carpet, bathroom floor had hair & pee, shower was disgusting and had orange rings around drains, freezer & fridge were filthy, save yourself a headache and book elsewhere. No pool for those wondering and the free breakfast is less than. There was no ice in either ice machine. It’s a shame because the hotel is beautiful and not old, if staff continues to treat it like they do, it will be ruined in no time.

No air conditioning other than a portable room AC, which, although very much appreciated, struggled to cool this 2 bedroom cabin. Everything else in the cabin was great. Wasn’t as impressed with the staff that were on at checkout. Didn’t act as if they gave rip, period. The kid that checked us in was very pleasant and helpful.

Hotel room was okay.Poor check in experience- Overcharged without explanation. The Expedia Receipt clearly states and my credit card was charged for most of it before we checked in and $46.39 to be paid at property. However when we checked to our surprise the Checkin / front desk staff of the Hotel insisted on charging my credit card $98.20 instead of $46.39 as expected with no explanation whatsoever. I have written several emails to the manager with no response.

The breakfast is just drinks (coffee, tea, etc.) with some pastries you can take. There's no place to sit and eat. The city is a very small city and does not much to do. There are a few reasonable dining places.

The Roosevelt was very convenient as it was within maybe 10 minutes or less from the North Entrance. They allowed a little earlier check-in which was great. I’m really big on guest service and as I have a certain expectation from a hotel, I don’t feel like I should ever have to call myself to get my room cleaned. Even though one day I went in the office and the friendly lady at the desk scheduled me a room cleaning. Only to find out the next day nothing was done in the room, dirty towels, no clean sheets and trash still at the door. I feel like having house keeping should be a standard either way. The area was actually very quiet, no disturbances and the view was spectacular. We stayed over by the leasing office. The AC definitely wasn’t the best, as I am someone who needs a cold room and the AC just didn’t cut it but that’s ok, it happens. Overall I give it a solid 3/5 and would still suggest someone to stay there, hopefully after they make some small adjustments to their service and housekeeping. Overall clean, nice smell and decent for a quick stay in Yellowstone.

The room was small but clean. The continental breakfast was sparse with no fruit option (pastry, cold cereal, & milk/coffee). Nice staff. The Roosevelt over charged by $30 and no management available to talk to about it. E-mailed them but still no reply 2 days later.
