“Booked a weekend stay to check out the beacon area. Was pleasantly surprised how such a small cabin had everything you would need for a small getaway. Hosts eveven provides snacks and coffee, though my plus 1 and I didn’t need any. Cable tv and WiFi and an/c included. Everything was clean and neat. Loved that it was within 15 min driving from beacon main st, dia, Ben marl winery and some hike trails which was all on my weekend agenda.Highly recommended! ”

“The house was comfortable and perfect for our family. There was a great hill by the house the kids could sled down. Only issue we had was neighbor was a bit confrontational- screaming from his house that the kids were making too much noise at 10 a.m. while they were playing in the snow. Other than that - great area. ”

“The cabin was so comfortable, and just as described. We all remarked on how comfortable the beds were, and the abundance of pillows to choose from for a restful sleep. The location was perfect, and the property was just beautiful! We loved waking up to bird song - such a variety of birds to hear and photograph! Rhona, our host, was very prompt and courteous in responding to any communication and/or questions. It's always great to get away with family and friends, reconnect, and just enjoy each……

“I was stunned by the sweet smell of the meadow then overwhelmingly surprised by the thoughtfulness of the host. Every comfort of home plus some extras like fresh milk, k-cups, firewood, berries, fresh granola... The place is much more beautiful in person and all funstional”

“We were so happy with our stay at this cabin. It was so nice. The cabin feels like a lot of care was put into it. The nature around the house is incredible. The only flag is that the wifi wasn't incredible (got the job done, but may not be great for a Zoom call or similar).”

“This property is incredible. The cabin is so unique! It’s like a giant treasure chest. We were a group of 5 adults and 6 kids. Everyone had the best time and all said they would love to come back again. Thank you to Mike and Katie for being so helpful during our stay. What a magical place. “Very clean, comfortable and cozy. Check-in was a breeze as well check out. Even though 9W is nearby very very minimal noise other than that, good quality sleep. AC works great. They even provide a sound machine, which my wife and I did not use since we always have our own. Full size fridge, stove, oven combo, microwave and a little fire place. We only used the fridge and microwave. There is also an outdoor grill with a picnic table which we did not use, we had other plans, maybe next time.……

“My husband and I had a great stay. This property is clean, cozy and has such a relaxing vibe. We loved the bathroom's spa-like atmosphere. The bed was so comfortable; my husband said it was some of the best sleep he's had lately. I enjoyed exploring the varied book collection. My husband and I really enjoyed the outdoor property. “The five of us all flew in to New York for a wedding so we had an opportunity to spend the weekend together after the wedding. We were looking for something relaxing that had a pool, and beautiful scenery. I had other activities planned but they didn’t want to leave the house. We played a lot of pool, went into jacuzzi, etc. Definitely want to come back when I have grandkids…the house is very accommodating for small kids with a outdoor swing set, safety around pool, etc.”
