“I read reviews but doesn't give place justice. It clean, comfortable beds, the reviews about breakfast is right is good for hotels.Great breakfast. The pool was warm and refreshing. Does need to be cleaned a little more often but refreshing. Hot tub was great. It was not hot last day out of 3 day stay. But amazing the first two days. People say the hotel needs to be updated. “We enjoy Hampton Inns, however this one was under construction and really torn up. I think the contractor(s) for the work could have done a much better job for the business without tearing up So much at one time. It took a bit away from our stay. ”

“The pool is what draws us here. It’s got things for every age. Downside is that the slide wasn’t running when it is posted it’s supposed to be. No life guard to work it. Then when it was running the lifeguard didn’t know what the sign said for kids to be 48 inches tall OR be able to swim across the pool to go down it. They turned down my child and other children who could do this because they weren’t “tall enough”.”

“Perfect location to visit pikes peak, the river restaurant pub was convenient & very good. The view from the bedroom window was beautiful. Thank you!”

“It was a great stay! Only downside to the cabin was that there was no hot water in the kitchen to clean dishes, we did a lot of cooking at the cabin. Other than that it was a great experience! ”

“We’ve visited “the Iowa Cabin” many times over the past six years. It’s a cozy, well-equipped property with everything we need for a family getaway. The location is peaceful and we’ve taught our kids to trout fish in the stream on the property. Many great memories here - we’ll be back!”
