“It was great. Has a manly atmosphere, but it was good. Reminded me of my grandfather. Only recommendation I have is the threshold in front of the the far right bedroom has the carpet tacks coming through & my SIL caught his foot on it. But other than than that, it was great. thanks for sharing what I assume is your Dad's place.”

“We are well-traveled renters and have stayed in some spectacular places. Within an hour of arriving here, we started to compare the feeling of this place to a special and beloved location that we frequent in Maine. Remote, but not too far from civilization. Rustic, but comfortable and well equipped. It's a jaw-dropping setting surrounded by sturdy live oaks that frame every view, beautiful water and marshes that are full of life (great fishing), star-filled night skies, and hear your heart beat……

“This property is small, but nice for hunters or a group of 4. It would be nice to have a toaster included in the kitchen supplies, but nice area to prepare meals in, eat in & play games at tables. The "hunter" themed decorations were fun, especially the bobcat sitting at the fireplace. We enjoyed our stay, until the downpour of rain came & created a river flowing through the back of the cabin (not hosts fault). We enjoyed our stay & visit of the area.”

“We enjoyed our month long stay in the low country as we escaped the cold weather in the Northeast. The waterfront is very lovely and we drank our morning coffee on the dock which was peaceful and pretty. We did local excursions each day, and looked forward to returning each evening for a glass of wine and a spectacular sunset! We had a few different couples visit, and they thoroughly appreciated the guesthouse and the comfort it offered. Caroline was a very pleasant and responsive host!”
