“We had a great time being able to visit family who live in the area. The cabin was 20 minutes from my brother and his family and 20 minutes to my nephews house. We loved the fact that it seemed like we were in the country and not in town. The yard and the fire pit was a huge hit with us. The Tulip Festival was amazing. Thank you again. ”

“We loved our stay and plan on returning in the future for a longer stay so we can experience more. It was about the same cost as a hotel stay, but with more of a home feel and a lot more room. I also enjoyed the view of the lake from our front porch. If I could suggeat one little change, maybe open the gym a little earlier than 9am, but that's all.”

“A Hidden Gem! Vicki and Doug were exceptional hosts, thinking of everything you could possibly want or need for an amazing stay. We highly recommend this property!We live in the heart of DC and were looking for a staycation that was close to home, on the water and full of nature. We had bald eagles flying by our bedroom window and our Merlin app was alerting us to a wide array of birds (some classified as rare) all singing to us. There are multiple areas on the property to enjoy the outdoor……

“My family and I spent one night at this cute lake house. The house is fantastic—new, very clean, and well-equipped with toiletries, snacks, coffee, and creamers, plenty of towels, blankets, and games. The WiFi connection was reliable, contributing to an enjoyable stay. We had a great time overall despite very cold and windy weather. The communication with the owner was excellent, especially when we had questions about entering and locking the house on our way out.”
