Welcome to Squirrel's Nest View! Unbelievable views of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Mt. Leconte await at this gorgeous cabin! This cabin is only 3.6 miles to the heart of downtown Gatlinburg, TN! the cabin features gorgeous hardwood floors, walls, and ceilings! Sit on the deck and relax in the hot tub while you stare in awe of the gorgeous Smoky Mountains! This cabin offers Mother Nature at its very finest! Come see the best views Gatlinburg has to offer!

The Space:
This cabin offers the very best views in all of Gatlinburg, TN! It features a private deck and hot tub with panoramic views of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Mt. Leconte (the highest mountain in the park)!

Wifi and smart tv (cabin does not have cable tv so bring your smart tv login)

Studio Cabin- King Bed, Smart TV, Queen Sleeper Sofa, Gas Fireplace (seasonal), High Speed Wifi

The Neighborhood:
This cabin is only 3.6 miles to the heart of downtown Gatlinburg, TN!

Getting Around:
All paved roads to the cabin. We recommend 4x4 wheel drive at any cabin in Gatlinburg and/or the mountains as well as this one. It's easy to reach the cabin and very close to downtown Gatlinburg.

Other Things to Note:
Must be 21 or older to book this cabin.

This cabin sleeps 4 guests maximum.

We always recommend 4x4 drive for anywhere in The Great Smoky Mountains. The cabin features paved roads all the way up and without any inclement weather any car should be fine but again, we recommend 4x4 wheel drive when visiting the area.

Gas fireplaces are seasonal and operate around October-March give or take depending on the weather.

Coffee maker is Keurig and regular coffee maker (bring your own coffee).

Grill is charcoal grill. (bring your own charcoal)

Hot tubs are drained and cleaned between each guest stay for sanitation and on check-in day they may need time to heat up to desired temperature depending on what time the cabin was last cleaned. Please adjust to desired temperature and standard mode upon arrival.

Preferred method of contact with host is through the website messenger and guests agree to always send any message through website messenger even if they send it by other means of contact.

Quick trip

This was a quick two night stay for my boyfriend and I. We had a great time, wish we’d have stayed longer! It was super easy check in/out, very clean little cabin with amazing views!! It’s pretty secluded being at the end of the road which was nice! Highly recommend 10/10.The only thing I would suggest is a light in the kitchen (unless there was one we never found) it is dark in that little area.

Views, Views, Views!!

The views in the listing photos were magnificent, but the actual views were even BETTER. I could have stayed on the back deck all day if my wife had let me. Cabin was very clean, water pressure was great and water was quick to heat. Roku TV was available although we only used it once (for 15 minutes) over the three days. We used the hot tub twice, and it looked and smelled clean—I highly recommend a hot tub dip at sunset. Coffee maker worked great, and we used it a bunch. Had a small issue with a critter making noise, but our host Chris was SUPER responsive, and he took care of it the same day. Location was awesome, being just two miles from Gatlinburg—close enough for convenience, but far enough to avoid the crowds. If you’re used to flat ground like I am, be careful driving up to the cabin at night—the mountains are gorgeous, but they’re a little scary to maneuver in a car without proper lighting (don’t rent more car than you need; we were in a RAV4 and were fine.) We saw plenty of animals in the woods from the balcony, and we even got to see a bear up close! I highly recommend this rental and this host!!

Amazing getaway

Our trip to this amazing cabin was a bit spur of the moment, and we could not be more pleased with our stay. Communication about the expectations and check-in was outstanding and we found everything exactly as expected. The view is the best we've ever had on a mountain trip, and the hot tub on the deck was a perfect way to unwind after a busy day in Gatlinburg. Easy location, beautiful views, comfortable bed and cabin space, and great communication made this trip outstanding. If we get a chance, we will definitely book this exact cabin for future visits to the area.

Our anniversary retreat

We had a lovely cabin. Its the last one on the road. It was clean, I loved the special touch with bed, towels, tp and pt. View was beautifully and the privacy and quiet was just what we wanted. We would suggested better chairs for thr deck and kitchen also one more for the living room. The only bummer was on April 1st, the coldest moring the fireplace was turned off. But has for wo7ld we come back, yes one day we will. Also, we had a littke sink problem and it was fixed soon after the call.

Cozy cabin with great views

My husband and I spent 5 nights at this property. It was the perfect size for both of us. The view was incredible. It is also located close to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We also took a day trip to Knoxville. The hosts were very communicative and check-in/check out was a breeze.

Quaint little cabbin

The whole stay was perfect, i would reccommend this place to anyone. Easy drive up here, asphalt the whole way, salt all ove ther roads because we came in January to ski. The cabin was just like described, cant complain. Thank you!

Unbelievable is an understatement.

My husband and I had the most relaxing stay at this cabin. It is unbelievably cute. And those views are breathtaking. The hosts are very attentive and make sure we had everything we needed at all times! Sweetest people on the planet! It’s about 20 mins outside Gatlinburg. The drive up to the cabin is a little steep and some tight turns so just be careful on your way up and down. I would recommend this cabin to every over. It was perfect :)

Views for days

One of the best places to stay in the mountains. Your on top of a huge mountain and can see for miles. The view is amazing especially when the leaves are changing colors. The cabin is perfect it felt like home but in the mountains. Will 100% be back next year

Best Gatlinburg views

We have been on quite a few trips in the US as well as other countries, this cabin had the most breath taking views we have ever seen. It is definitely one of the best vacations we have ever done. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed. The communication with property owners/management was fantastic as well. Can't wait to stay at this property again!

An ideal stay for a gatlinburg vacation

This turned out to be such a wonderful vacation, and a huge part was played by this lovely space. It was in a fantastic location, with easy (as easy as steep mountain roads can be) access to both sides of the mountain, a quick trip to both the main strip in Gatlinburg, and our personal favorite spot, the arts and crafts district. The view was gorgeous, the space was accommodating, and it was one of the few places we got great cell service in the area. No complaints! OH and the cherry on top, while on our way down the mountain on our last day we saw a family of black bears. So great! This will likely be our choice stay for our next trip to gatlinburg!
