Beautiful lodge and very cozy. Great views from all sides of hotel ,clean and modern. Only grievance was the man at the front desk was cold and stern when I was checking in , and there was mold in the shower ... something you don't expect at a stay like this . But nothing too serious from not booking here again in the future.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Appy Lodge, and it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warmth and friendliness, which made me feel right at home. If you like put put, there is a nice course right next door, also good dining next door , it is not in walking distance to downtown shopping, to park downtown is 20 dollars for all day or 10 min. We had trouble with our room key received 6 different keys in 2 days until they gave us a master key card

We would definitely stay here again! I’m pretty picky when it comes to cleanliness and was pleased with everything! The beds weren’t the most comfortable but that’s common with hotels so nothing out of expectation. The staff was nice and helpful

We absolutely loved the Appy Lodge!!! The staff were awesome; very courteous and professional. I liked how it’s associated with the Appalachian Trail and how every room is named after one of the 242 shelters on the Appalachian Trail. Very informative pictures about the history of the Appalachian Trail along the hallways; I read ‘em all. I’ve always loved history. I liked the location. Just inside of Gatlinburg and just far enough away from all the hustle and bustle. Nice quiet spot. Flapjack’s next door is convenient; we did eat breakfast at the hotel Sunday morning. Better variety of breakfast items than most hotels. Our room was nice. I loved the rustic look of the bed, tables, etc. pillows a little soft; kinda aggravated an old racing injury with my neck. That’s ok though. When we come back to Gatlinburg, we WILL be staying here again.
