Located near the top of Bluff Mountain, perfect for a honeymoon or romantic getaway. Enjoy the magnificent mountain views without ever having to leave your Smoky Mountain cabin. Fat Bottomed Squirrels is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, studio style cabin located about 5 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge. There are phenomenal views from this intimate cabin - you can see forever!

The cabin is a studio log cabin with a great Smoky Mountain view. Enjoy the covered deck with views for miles, hot tub and charcoal grill (charcoal not supplied). Inside there is massive, hand-crafted queen-size log bed. The cabin has a fully stocked kitchen w/ dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, Keurig. It features a nice open floor plan with flat screen HDTV with cable, DVD player and Netflix, electric fireplace, and all linens supplied. Of course there is running water, central air/heat and high speed WiFi Internet.

Enjoy the convenience to area attractions like Dixie Stampede, Dollywood, and The Christmas Place.

The road up to the cabin is very STEEP. The access road to this cabin is paved but does have an incline. We can make it up in a Prius with no problem. This cabin is not for the less adventurous type. If you want to be near shopping and flat roads this is not for you. If you want to be near the park with a breathtaking view and hiking nearby... look no further!

Motorcycles and trailers are not recommended. 4-wheel drive is recommended for adverse winter conditions.

Needed Reset

Very clean and private. Decided to hit the tail of the dragon. Did some traveling through parts of the Smoky mountain 1000. We had some furry visitors on one night. The next morning we left for town and found them down the hill at a neighboring cabin having a picnic with the trash. Overall it it was great. We would come again.

Amazing view and so cozy

This cabin was amazing. I loved everything about from the beautiful view to the amazing hosting. Me and my girlfriend stayed for two nights and we both had a great time. The cabin was very clean and well kept. We loved how close it was as to everything while also being tucked away to ourselves. The steep roads scared us at first but after the first time going up it wasn’t that bad I recommend turning off over drive if your car has that feature

Amazing view and peaceful property

We loved it! We booked this location for our birthday, me and my wife share the same birthday and decided a smoky mountain trip was something we needed to experience. Staying at the Fat Bottomed Squirrels cabin was amazing the view in the morning is incredible. Its location was perfect for a short drive to everything but secluded from almost everyone. I will be recommending this location to all my family and friends. The hosts are incredibly responsive and loaded us with all the good spots to eat explore and relax during our stay. Cabin was clean and appears to be extremely well maintained. Five stars from us for sure!!!!

BEAUTIFUL view! Perfect relaxing getaway!

The check in process was super easy as well as getting up to the cabin. Maps took us straight there. The cabin was perfectly clean and cozy. We LOVED the wrap around porch, the view is breath taking. The hot tub is great as well. The hike to the waterfall is a must! It was beautiful. 10/10 stay.

Beautiful Two-Person Cabin

My husband and I wanted a nice place in the mountains to spend our 1-year anniversary and this cabin was perfect! It’s the perfect space for 2 adults and the view was gorgeous. Close enough to town to enjoy a night out, but secluded enough for lovely privacy in nature. Such a great stay!

Best view I’ve ever had.

I’ve stayed in Sevierville area several times and this wins for the best view we have ever had. Pics don’t do justice. It’s hard to leave this cabin for the views. Host was exceptionally fast before and during our stay to communicate woth. Cabin was extremely clean. Host did warn us the driveway is steep. They aren’t kidding. 4wd not required but did help. I would absolutely stay here again.

Nice cozy cabin with a great view. The roads to the cabin look scary at first with very step grades but shouldn't be a problem for most drivers. I would stay again!

Cabin in the mountains

We saw a bear in the driveway! That was the highlight of our trip! Just a short drive to all the attractions! Unfortunately, a wedding venue was near so could hear the music and voices even during the week. But it wasn’t that bad! The hosts were great! Responded very quickly to my messages and to resolve and issues! We enjoyed our stay!

Nice property, great view. Very steep driveway. Have to say this is a nice place but if you want quiet like we wanted, then this is not the place to stay. There's a wedding venue behind the cabin that had a loud wedding all 3 days we were there. Very disappointed.
