“The comfiest bed I have ever slept in. Plenty of space, beautiful interiors. Such a peaceful location, especially loved the very friendly cows who came to say hello. The wildlife was also amazing with gorgeous birds and a koala in a nearby tree. Would definitely recommend”

“An amazing place. Everything at Gasworks was of the highest standard and quality. The property and gardens are stunning, with so much room to walk, relax , watch the chickens or the wildlife around the running creek. So relaxing. Provisions for breakfast were generous and appreciated. The history of a bygone era has been maintained. “A massive thank you to Albert and his family for having us stay on their property this weekend. We were incredibly grateful for their extra efforts—fresh bread and homemade cakes to celebrate our anniversary were such a thoughtful touch. It was a joy to watch their daughter with her horses and to see the beautiful Highland cows. The tent was perfect upon arrival, and overall, we’d give Albert a 10/10 for his hospitality and care. “Host Georg met us on our arrival at Karawatha Cottages. Our cottage was immaculate inside and out. The decor was bery tasteful and there were lots of little touches that elevated it above the norm. The fridge was filled with milk water, tomatoes, yoghurt, eggs bacon, butter and jam. Fresh bread, granola, fruit, chocolate and a bottle of local wine was also provided. ”
