Train station is a 10 min walk to the apartment, but there is also a small bus that waits at the train station when the train from Rome arrives. “We had an amazing stay at the house. Its a great, very relaxing location in the foot hills, with a cute town close by and other activities. The town is not really walkable given the roads. We enjoyed the house, cooked on the outdoor grill twice (was a great experience), and used the pool daily. ”

If you take a train, you will need a cab to get to places like Lake Albano or Castel Gandolfo - Pope's summer residence. Many wineries within 10 km with many great cooking and tasting packages. “We had a really lovely time staying in this very expansive villa. The pool was fantastic and enjoyed by us on a daily basis. Being near Rome allowed us to site see the capital a few times. Being so close to Ciampino and its shopping facilities was also a big plus. Donatella was a fantastic host, alwasy responding promptly to our queries.”
